Watch the video, it will help greatly. If you need to cut the mat, follow the instructions on bi-leveling, use a sanding block to get the angle. Make sure you put weight down overnight for a good seal.

Great product, works as described , easy instructions and took about an hour including cleaning tub...With the new floor actually have better footing in tub. Trust me if I can do this anyone can, made me feel like a pro, only to get eye rolls from my wife when I presented her with the bill for services rendered... Highly recommend...

THE INLAY IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO TO FIX A BATHTUB FLOOR CRACKEVEN THOUGH I THINK YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO WALK RIGHT IN THE STORE AND PURCHASE IT AND NOT HAVE TO GO ONLINE TO ORDER IT.THE KIT HAS BASICALLY ALL YOU NEED FOR INSTALLATION AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE AWESOME TOO

The kit worked well (so far); however I thought it was pricey at almost $90. I purchased it because I needed it. It took me about 1.5 hours to prepare the tub floor and install it. Follow the instructions carefully.

A lot of money for a piece of plastic and a tube of caulk but aD lot cheaper than replacing the tub. Fairly simple to install. Only time will reveal long term results . . .

needed to be a little wider and a lot more glue we have to get more glue the ends are coming open it is a great product

Was what I expected. Easy to install. We had to cut it to fit in one of the rental tubs but went down fine. You most likely will need another sheet of sand paper to rough up the surfaces.

Works as advertised. Pretty easy to install. The only thing I would recommend is to get more sand paper.

1980 one piece tub and shower enclosure started peeling, scary and ugly. Watched short YouTube video, installed in minutes. Brilliant solution to annoying problem. Saved me hundreds of dollars, brain damage from other option of messy, smelly two part epoxy. Follow instructions and be happy!

Easy to install. However, I don't think there is enough glue provided. We'll see.

I wanted to wait a few months before I reviewed this to make sure the adhesive stayed put and that the tub inlay still looked great and didn't leak or warp. It has exceeded my expectations. As long as you follow the instructions for cleaning & drying your tub prior to installing it, it still looks great after 6 months. The website even has a video explaining and demonstrating proper installation if you want to be like me and double check before starting your project. Several years ago my son dropped and shattered his goldfish bowl and it tore up the tub in a few small places. I put a clear adhesive over those spots to prevent leaks, but it still looked terrible & I thought I was stuck with that. This inlay makes it look brand new again. :)

Discovered a network of fine cracks radiating from a long fine center crack in a fiberglass tub. Bought a patch kit and it was really unsightly! No way to make it look "normal" and we continued to hear a drip somewhere below the tub. Ultimately removed that epoxy with citri-safe, which by the way works great and didn't dissolve my bathtub, cleaned the tub thoroughly and let it dry. I actually watched several online videos and found one to be the most helpful, where you outline the inlay area first in pencil, mask a few inches surrounding the pencil (I used frog tape because I've been painting too), and then lightly sand the bottom of the inlay that will meet the tub, and sand also the inlay area on the tub bottom. Then spread the adhesive as directed, lay the "mat" sanded side down, roll or press from the center to the edges until you see "glue" begin to ooze from all of the edges, and then carefully remove the masking tape. Then clean up the edges of any adhesive. I then put some weight on it while it set. They recommend filling some empty milk jugs, I had some buckets and cans of paint, stuff like that. Waited the allotted time, and it was perfect! My roughly 220 lb son took a shower and no leaks, the mat doesn't lift, it appears to be firmly and evenly in place, and I couldn't be more happy. The price seemed high for adhesive, a plastic mat, a spreader and plastic gloves, but it was far cheaper than ripping up my bathroom and replacing an entire shower and tub unit! A bargain, trust me! Only time will tell the endurance of the product.

Garbage, plastic does not stick down with the glue provided. The edges lift up allowing water to get under, if the glue actually stuck the plastic mat down it might work but it does not. Don't waste your time or money on this, took me two hours to scrape all the glue off and clean the tub. Now I am back to where I started.

Right product for the right reason. Saved me thousands of $$$ to replace.
