Home Depot carries a good variety of lumber and a good quality of lumber. Sometimes there are products in the store that the staff do not even know about. I have seen that several times. I used 2 of these to rebuild the support structure of a pergola for a customer and they worked great. His pergola is strong and safe again instead of at risk of falling down. I prefer to by my lumber at HD.

    The lumber was delivered in good shape but I was given some damaged Trex deck boards that need returned and they are 16ft boards. Any idea how I return them? I don’t own a delivery truck. Could someone pick up the boards that were delivered damaged? I spent $2k for materials and delivery.

    Too many large knots. Will probably fall out leaving gaps. Also decreases strength of board and limits use to low strength applications. Price is too high for junk wood. Why can't quality be better if you are charging so much?
