Not 6 inches in width, almost 5 1/2 inches. The quality of the wood seems nice but the width is off.

We made a bird house from this piece of wood. It sanded very easily, was straight, and easy to work with.

makes great bird houses.

Needed to make a plank to make the back of a display case I was making, all in cedar. It cleaned up nicely, but tended to splinter a bit while squaring it up. Also the color was very light compared to the pictured board on this site. It worked very well for the purpose I needed.

Took a while to find decent boards in the store. 70 percent weren't usable for my project. Product is thinner than other cedar I had purchased in the past, and only finished on one side.

The selection was good and the inventory was adequate for my needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful at this store.

Usable but had to pick thru to find a descent one

A very expensive fence board. Cupped, split, twisted. I’ll be lucky to get 1/2” finished thickness when I’m done trying to get it flat!

As always with lumber, expect to pick through the offered selection to find acceptable boards for your project.

Customer interaction could be much better at checkout

The thickness of these pickets are great. The quality is hit or miss, often having to sort through an entire pallet to get even a dozen. They are very wet still and will warp easily once they begin to dry if you do not take precautions.

Everyone was nice and kind.

Extremely expensive and not so sturdy.

It was the only board left, but I was in a bind. I made it work, but it was in lousy shape with both edges heavily peeled back.

It was warped. unusable.

I picked the best one I saw available in the store. Still not very good.

Quality of board is so much better than their rival do it yourself store.
