Applied this as the container suggested. It wasn't even three days before the cats were back in my yard playing and sun bathing like they lived here. Do not waste your money.

I always wanted something like this product and now I have a chance to use it. So I've removed all the cat feces that neighborhood cat's have been digging in a dirt area in my front parkway to get rid of weeds. The cat's are always doing their business on the cleared dirt spots. After flattening the dirt area I opened the easy pour spout (after shaking the closed bag per instructions) and spread a small amount over the dirt area. Now it has been at least two days without any cat feces being dug in this area. The product has an interesting smell due to the Citronella, Rosemary, Cedar & garlic oils. The product is supposed to work in any climate or temperature but it does say to refresh it after a heavy rain. Also it needs to be refreshed after 2 to 3 weeks. It does say that it is safe for pets, children & plants but it also says not to use near food or food commodities.

We have had problems with our cats going to the bathroom in our garden area in front of out house. We resorted to other products that did not work well. We even put nets and fencing over the dirt to prevent them from going. The Enviro Protection granular s were easy to spread around the perimeter of the garden and boy does it work. The cats made a u-turn when they approached it. It smells like petri oil and there is enough to last for weeks It is recommended for organic gardening and is made with dried blood, garlic oil, cedar oil, citronella oil, and rosemary oil. It is so aromatic that it is also keeping the deer away. All in all a great product.

I have a bunch of inconsiderate neighbors that permit their cats to run free and several of them are ruining my landscaping. Since the city would probably frown on me getting rid of them the way that I want, I have been looking for some way to deter their activity. I saw the Enviro Protection Indust Scram for Cats 3.5 lbs. Granular Cat Repellent Bag and thought it would be worth a shot. I've had good luck with red pepper/cayenne pepper but it has to be reapplied too often which gets expensive. There was no mention on the package of needing to reapply post-rain so hopefully Scram will last longer. Application is easy, just open the spout and sprinkle. Despite the main active ingredient being blood, I did not notice anything offensive about the smell. At least it looks more natural in my bedding material than the bright, red chile powder. After a few days I have not seen any cats but the ammonia-smell is still around. At this point I can't say if it is working or not. The smell may just be residual, I don't know. Time will tell and I will update if it proves ineffective.

It works! I was initially hesitant to try an 'organic formula' cat deterrent. After all, my cats seem to have no issues with most cat repellent as it is. However, I am very surprised by Scram for Cats Granular Repellent. The bag event states that it works 'Guaranteed' multiple times, and that is true to its word. My cats absolutely hate the smell of this stuff. The best part? It smells great! This stuff is a combination of citronella and mint (and a lot of other stuff that doesn't smell at all, like dried blood). Upon opening the bag and giving it a little shake, you're met with a nice and pleasant scent that is in no way harsh or filled with noxious chemicals. I chose to sprinkle the stuff along my property lines, and I have not seen the neighborhood 'roaming' cats for several days. So, not only do tame house cats not like it, but free roaming house cats hate it as well. The only concern I have is longevity. With a strong wind storm or intense rain storm, I have a feeling the scent of this repellent will get blown away. It is something that will need an occasional re-application to keep effectiveness up, that's for sure. However, I'm satisfied with this stuff as is.

Enviro has a lot going for it. Environmentally safe, won't harm cats. Doesn't smell bad for humans - sort of lemon/citrus. Very easy to apply - just shake the bag, remove the cap and distribute around the area you want to protect. Does it work? Maybe - if you have a small, well defined space you want to keep cats off. If you have a large yard like I do - forget about it. Cats are smarter than us. They'll walk around it, jump over it or hold their breath. So test, before you spend a lot of money.

I love cats but the ENVIRO PROTECTION INDUST 3.5 lbs. Granular Cat Repellent Bag seems to keep the cats in my neighbors yard and not in mine. I was smelling cat poop and pee every time I went out the front door to my car. Now the little kitties are going potty somewhere else and not near my house. Again I love cats but not the smell. This repellent smells awesome with a citrus cedar aroma. It is very pleasant aroma to me. Far better than the previous odor. Nice pour spout

In my front and back yards all I see is cats on my security cameras. I don't own a pet. One even went to the bathroom on my porch. I think I heard when a cat pics in the yard, thats where those mushrooms come from. I just don't like them in my front yard. Back yard is OK getting a handle on the bugs. It smells pretty good, smells like a clean out side.

We have a sizable vegetable garden outside tall fencing. Between the dog and fencing, we have very few varmint problems. However, we put in an herb garden outside the fence this year - and neighborhood cats celebrated. Nothing against cats - we have five inside cats. Just against cats using my herb garden as a litter box. We tried mothballs, coffee grounds, and even citrus peels - all supposedly were effective organic cat repellents. Um, no they're not. I scattered the Enviro cat repellent pellets at the site of feline "deposit". The pellets have a very pleasant smell to me, but may be offensive to cats? The pellets are brown in color, not obvious or ugly against mulch. So far, I don't see new activity near the site after two days. I understand pellets have to be reapplied regularly. Hope they work!

Scram for Cats ! I love my garden and so unfortunately does my cat...and a few of their neighborhood friends. I thought some raised containers for flowers would keep them at bay but it does not. Scram for Cats is super easy to apply and seems to do the job. First you have to scoop out any old poo and then apply. You must reapply after heavy rain so i assume the same with watering. I ran it around the outside edge of the garden and am trying to spot water as best i can to avoid washing it away. Only outdoor use. It does have a bit of odor to in but outside it is not noticeable at all. The granules are dark brown so they do not make unsightly marks on the garden

Enviro Protection Indust Cat Repellent. ‘Scram for Cats’ is formulated to naturally repel cats from unwanted areas. This is a compassionate repellent to train cats from entering areas you would like to have them avoid. There are some feral cats in my area who constantly come in my yard. I would prefer not to have them around since I have small grandchildren and these cats have not been cared for or never had shots so they may carry fleas. Easy pour spout. Simply scatter the granules in areas of entry and areas the cats seem to migrate to. The strong odor of the formula triggers cat’s senses to avoid areas you have treated. Lasts through normal rains, long lasting, pleasant smell.

I followed the instructions and it seemed to work the first day or so. I tried layering more after still seeing evidence cats were still using my flower bed rocks for their toilet. I really hoped this would work but, evidently not fool proof as I'd hoped! It doesn't meet my expectations. Neither did Critter Ridder products!

I was extremely skeptical with this purchase. Especially after looking over reviews they have been all over the place with confirming if the quality of the product is worth the price. After asking a vendor in the store he helped me with the choice. So far so good! I haven’t noticed a disruption in my lawn since the application of it. I would recommend a 2nd bag just to be safe or when seasons change.

Ineffective. A waste of money and effort.
Applied according to directions. It must have been laced with catnip. The cat traffic has not slowed at all. Still cleaning up souvenirs.

This product doesn’t smell strong which is very good. However, the cats apparently don’t smell anything either because they come every night to do their business in spite of my dumping half the bag in my garden.
