Worked perfectly and will use it again

honestly pretty bad. I can patch a wall the old fashioned way but thought to try something new. As with most things, the new way is sub-par to the old ways.

Putty was too stiff. Almost seemed dry - had to patch the same hole twice.

Great product. Easy to use

Attempted to fill small gap between deaminating Hardee Board siding and window. Even after 24 hours dry time and hard to touch, but not yet primed due to weather - completely disintegrated in rain shower. It was total mess; waste of time, effort and money. A piece of chalk would have held up better. Might be usefully in very thin layer - if and only if protected by high grade primer and paint

good solid 'patch'. Easy to use, worked great to pull in the sides for closing up the hole. Spackle was easy to apply and smoothe out.

Works, is almost unbelievably easy to do, and is so much less hassle than furring strips, peeling California patches, or dealing with surface-mount seams. I used this to cover a former light mount that had been moved and it filled that hole in. It is adhesive-based so make sure you clean the dust out from the backside of the drywall. Also, the finger hole in the middle used to help apply additional pressure to the adhesive once mounted is a bit narrow-ish.

I used six containers of this 3M product on my redwood siding during house painting prep. I closed up 5 inch vent holes, reconstructed broken trim, planarized soffits with chipped paint, covered nail heads, and filled cracks and knotholes. I generally let the putty cure at least 48 hours before sanding and priming. The resulting repaired surfaces are flawlessly smooth and hard.

It worded very well. Peel the tape, roll it into the hole, pull it tight, push in handle and spackle. Done and done.

Didn’t stick to inside of hole had to use screws to catch and hold in place

It broke apart trying to fit it hole!
