Good stuff works great= expensive

I used this on a rotted window frame. I put 4 coats on the remaining wood which was soft. It took about 6 hours to fully harden. I was good to go then.

I kept it out overnight one night. The lid froze shut with rust and was so thin that the can never opened.

Good product. But hard to open as cap bond with material once opened

Worked well but pricey.

Did the job, easy to use. Have plenty of ventilation.

This hardener works great when used with the wood filler. I used it on a deck board and was very happy. Sorry no pictures

I was skeptical of this but I tried it anyway. It worked liked it said. I had rotten wood and it made it hard. I used the bondo all purpose filler to finish the job. I love that stuff. I’ve used it fix wood and big cracks in Sheetrock.

This stuff is great. Use in an open area though, fumes are strong. Worked perfectly to patch some rotted wood.

Works very well as directed BUT once the cap is closed it’s extremely difficult to open again. It does an excellent job though.

This reminds me of clear nail polish with regards to the aroma and the application. I used it on an exterior door casing that had typical rot near the bottom. After removing the loose fibers and loose pieces, I gave a rough sand and then removed surface dust. Painted on the restorer and it took about 4 hours to get past the tacky stage. By the following day I was able to apply filler and smooth. A couple of hours later I was able to sand the filler and paint.

Worked great, painted over very well.

I could see an immediate improvement after 2 coats. Worked well, was easy to apply. Paint adhered great after application and drying time.

Did just what it claimed. Had to use plumbers' pliers to get the top off.

Liquid is easily absorbed into wood but you have to innovate Techniques to pool it into the portion you are trying to restore The idea is for the wood to absorb the maximum amount at first application otherwise it will seal up and you will still have only the surface will have hardened but the rotted wood beneath will still disintegrate. I return the product and decided to either cut out the rotted wood replace it with new , or use Bondo to fill the voids.

Over priced .Home Depot was out of Varathane Which is double the quantity for basically the same price. The material functioned as expected.

Used to stabilize rotted wood on my barn. The product hardens the wood. Only time will tell for how long. I would buy again

The restorer was easy to apply with the in can brush, however, the lid is extremely hard to open I had to use grips to get it open.
