I have been sleeping with earplugs for over 20 years and had been a fan of a specific brand of Mack earplugs until they changed their "formula" and I couldn't wear them anymore without my ears being in constant pain and inflammation. After having lost sleep without wearing earplugs to let my ears heal, my dad was at the hardware store and picked some of these up for me to try. They are AMAZING. They block out all of the noise -- I sleep through the night without waking up. And they are super gentle on my ears. I'm a side sleeper and they don't irritate my canal at all. I'm going to be buying a box of these so that I never run out! Please make these forever 3M and keep the design exactly how it is now!

Putting earplugs in is not entirely straightforward until you're used to it, but they work as expected. I prefer my over-the-ear protectors for short-term use (a few minutes at a time) but these earplugs are comfortable for longer periods and I haven't had any problems with them staying in.

Outstanding products. Will use these for hearing protection.

These were very flimsy and had no density to the foam whatsoever. They did not reduce noise level at all.

Count them! The pack I bought was factory sealed but only contained 13 plugs and not 14 (7 pairs). Didn't notice this until I opened the pack and already used a pair. Yeah it's only missing one, but seriously! 3M can't even package accurately? These plugs aren't bad. They expand a little too quickly after you roll them, but the missing one is what really got me. If they are cheating you out of one in the small pack, makes you wonder how many they are cheating you out of in the larger packs. Looking for an alternative.

I bought these for the purpose of blocking out noise from my disrespectful downstairs neighbor who has a habit of speaking at a yelling level and playing his thumping base heavy Latino music at all hours of the day and night. These are soft yet made of a dense enough foam material that they sufficiently block out the noise he makes and I can finally have a peaceful nights sleep! I am a side sleeper & these do not come out of my ears during the night however, after about 5-6 hours of wear I can start to feel a slight ache in my ears to where I want to take them out though they do not hurt so bad I can't stand them. It is important to correctly insert them in the way it's listed in the instructions as they are uncomfortable & don't block out noise if you don't. I wouldn't think they're for extended wear longer than 6 hours but I will gladly repurchase these and recommend these to anyone who is looking for a quality yet affordable product.

I have no idea how people can say that these helped to reduce noise level? These things don't reduce noise whatsoever!

When you put them in your ear, they shrank. I'm sorry, they didn't work for me.

What can I say, they're ear plugs. They work great and are cheap. After about a minute your ears adjust to the new feeling and they are rather comfortable.

I have small ear canals and these are the only plugs that really fit at all. The stay small and expand slowly. I use them for motorcycling and at work. In both cases, the fit makes all the difference in the world, especially at low frequencies where they really do the job well.

Purchased for someone that needed noise reduction without the bulky headphones

Excellent value but they do not block as much sound as some other brands.

They're exactly what I expected!!! Very comfortable. Only thing that would make them better is if they were individually packed in pairs. Had to store them in a baggie.
