Love the look and function, ear pad fell apart after minimal use. Disappointed as a different brand I've had much longer is still intact. Took this set out of my shooting bag only to find the foam exposed.

They worked really well a few times. Then the ear piece broke from the holder that attaches to the headband part. Our older pair is still going strong. Really wish they would last longer. Very disappointed for the price I would think they would be built like they used to be.

I bought these about a year ago and they have been my main ear pro since. I shoot in all kinds of weather in competition and other scenarios. I found that this product has a major flaw with inclement weather. Any type of rain or even drizzle will seep in to the battery compartment and cause the batteries to corrode or blow the batteries in about 30 minutes. The worst was my last competition where the headphones literally popped and stopped working. I opened the battery compartment and the batteries had literally exploded inside the headset. I would not recommend these for outdoor use in inclement weather. I will be reverting back to my Howard Leights for the time being.

Complete Junk. These muffs do not work with anything louder than a .22 rimfire. Any center fire pistol or center fire rifle will blow out your eardrums. Big fail, big time.

These Ear Pro work great. And the convex bottom allows me to get a good cheek-weld on my rifle.

Love this for duck hunting. Can still talk to friends, hear ducks quack and whistle flying overhead. Comfortable to wear. Good for range work, though I’ll usually pair it with in ear protection for high caliber rifles. The auto off has saved my batteries multiple times, sometimes the on/off switch gets turned to on in storage.

Excellent product works great lightweight very pleased.

I’ve used these for some 4 or 5 years, range shooting & hunting hogs, ducks, squirrels, doves, etc. So far, they work well, fold compactly, & both cancel loud noises while amplifying “woods noises”, whispers, etc. I have no complaints. These work about as well as my very expensive noise-cancelling aviation Pilot headsets for ~10% the price.

I've been using these for years now. Even on an indoor range, my 7.62mm rifle and 12 GA. shotgun aren't too loud and I can still hear voices clear as day.

I have purchased Peltor hearing protection for years. Our original pairs had On/Off switches for each individual side. I bought these Rangeguard for my adult children. We also gave them great hard cases to store them. Unfortunately, my sons pair started to deteriorate within a year on the ear pads. At first it cracked on the lower end of the left side. We just covered it with Black electrician tape but from there the ear pads just continued to fall apart at multiple sites. Now we are concerned the other 2 pairs we purchased will disintegrate too! I would like to attach pictures but this form won't allow it.

This is actually my third set of Peltor hearing protections and seem to work very well. However support to replace the ear pads is non-existant. The material over the foam is very thin and has worn out and I cannot find a place to order a replacement set of pads.

My husband said that they cancel out noise very very well. He will be using them when he hunts. My grandson also said the same thing.

Same as the other non-“incentivized” reviews, awful static sound produced after only one or two indoor shooting range usages. Battery compartment is extremely difficult to open.

I got a pair of these for Christmas. They work great! After about four uses at the range they stopped working. Very light useage - not used in rain, not used in dirt.

They are pretty solid - especially for the price. Wish it came with batteries but oh well. I use in ear protection as well as over ear (these). I was shooting 5.56 indoor and that combo did the job.

I have had a pair for a couple years now and indoors they work really well. I like the quality of the sound compared to other brands. I started using them outside and they started having lots of problems. I think condensation from sweat and humidity gets on the electronics and they start making weird static noises. This problem is much worse if it is cold outside. I never wore them in the rain, the moisture is from inside the ear pieces. This static noise would go away after they dried off, but they eventually stopped working altogether. I'm guessing the circuitry finally shorted out for good. I wish they were more moisture resistant for outdoor use (again I never wore them in the rain).
