Was able to replace old with these sturdy stringers. However one had flaw in the wood and a chunk broke off and I had to exchange it.

Lab puppies love this one, they have self taught to use the stringers to access the back porch, before I finished the steps. Precut steps stingers make the job easier. And save time.

These were way to dry. Mine started splitting when trying to screw tread lumber on. Won't buy again.
