Easy to work with, used it to seal new RV running lights on an old RV.

This is an excellent product that is essential for a steel roofing project. It creates an impregnable barrier that will stay watertight. I use it under the gable trim where it rests on the roofing panels as well as under the pipe boots to ensure a watertight seal.

Great product for sealing metal roof lap joints. I bought a metal gazebo kit and while not cheap the quality of the fasteners leaves a little bit to be desired. I purchased a couple of rolls of this sealant tape to join the roof panels and adhere them to the frame work. It vastly improved the sturdiness of the structure, and created a strong and waterproof bond.

This product helps seal the ribbed panels and helps hold them in place while attaching the screws.

My handy lady used it for my skylight She told to buy that because it works great

Have yeet to use it but should work fine.

I used this Butyl Tape on my new Metal Roof for a barn. It was cool outside at about 45 degrees but we were in the sun and it quickly softened the tape. I would not want to put this down in really hot weather. It is tacky and will sit in place as needed.

Needed to pick this up to finish a Versatube project that they shorted us on. Other big box stores didn’t carry it and we’ll have enough left over for some cargo trailer projects. Seems to be excellent quality and we’ll see the waterproofness over time.

The product is as described but very thin. If you need or want to make sure you are filling in a large gap you may have to double up the thickness on it. Also, not very wide. Other products on the market are about another 1/4” wider and probably 20% thicker. If it’s a small enough project then this will probably work
