The width should be wider as it was hard to put it on exposed metal roof edges. 5/8" to 3/4" would be much easier to handle the sealant tape.

If your picking up from Home Depot, its in the very back right corner bottom shelf. Took me forever to find it, so there ya go!

It's freaking sticky. I forgot jus how do, put it in the refrigerator to make handling easier sehrn it's near 100 outside. It seals and adheres

The tape is very thin so figure on doubling it

Softens in the heat to form nicely. Firm enough out of the fridge or freezer to handle and separate from the backing, without too much trouble of it sticking everywhere.

Didn't use it. Turns out the outside closures already have adhesive on them. Thanks for the heads up...
