Nice cladding wood, attractive texture. Some edge damage but I was able to work around that easily.

Good quality boards with a few knots.

Wood was really cupped and bowed. Hard to make a square box with.

It was hard finding quality boards. I had to buy a few extra boards to finish a project.

I purchased 6 8 foot cedar boards over 2 days to build planter boxes. Had them cut in half in the store. The first day, the associate carefully measured and made perfect cuts. The second day, not so much. When I started building the boxes with the boards cut on day 2, the cut was neither accurately in half, nor was it straight. Very frustrating.

Boards were pretty warped.

Absolutely the worst wood. Different lengths and widths. Warped lengthwise also. Some boards less than 8 feet and some exactly 8 feet. Impossible to get 2 4 foot pieces. I’ll shop elsewhere for wood next time. Very disappointed for the cost. If the cost matched the quality then that’s a different story.

i cut them down to 16” and lined the interior of the box garden. once all the ‘shingles’ were installed, I then sanded the top down to try and prevent splinters. Worked as expected.

Easy to work with -- as with all lumber make sure you check pieces. Good color to this cedar.

Good lumber!!!

Pretty good lumber for the price and source. Some of the boards were warped a bit, but it will not matter for the projects I have planned for their use. I would be hesitant to use them in lengths over 16".
