The boards were suppose to be 8 inches wide, which is exactly what I needed and I understand if it would have been 7 inches but 3/4 but they were 7 inches and 1/4. So I had to return them.

The product is nice and easy to work with. Beware that the boards are not actually 8” x 1” since they are measured to lumber standards. We didn’t realize this until we got them home. 8” would have been better for our project.

a mid price alternative, was easy to cut and fit as a weatherproof replacement around the roofline. easy peasy.

For I used it for, that is to seal out water and dry rot damage to the exterior of my home, it was perfect.

Using for exterior newel post caps. Was extremely well protected in shipping; arrived undamaged. cut Great with 12” 80 tooth finish blade (wear a mask!). Still have to assemble and install. Will do that on a midrange temperature day, due to expansion/contraction issues of material.

The exterior kick plate under our patio door needed to be replaced and I wanted whatever I purchased to be maintenance free. This trimplank was the solution. As a homeowner and DIY'er I had never used this material before so I was somewhat apprehensive regarding how to cut the material properly. I ended up buying a plywood blade for my Skill saw with 140 teeth for $6.00 from Home Depot. I used a Speed Square layout tool to guide the Skill saw and it worked beautifully. When cutting the board it does create a lot more very fine dust so eye and nose protection is needed. I will definitely purchase this material again.

i purchased this product and when buying materials like this, items usually show exact dimensions of the boards. The listed dimensions were 1/2'' to 3/4'' different than actual size. This is a good product, however the listing should reflect exact size and dimensions to save the consumer from buying the wrong size, or creating extra work for the consumer.
