Product was as described and expected. I ended up using 47 bags for the playground so the calculator was great. I did get some conflicting texts and emails regarding the delivery, but overall was great. Only issue I had was that the delivery is literally curbside. The freight driver will only drop off the pallet at the street. I l live out in the country and my driveway is long and the playground is not close either. It would have been a challenge to transport that many bags manually. Luckily, I have a trailer and was able to off-load the pallet onto the trailer and I was able to move it where I needed. The "curbside delivery" needs to be emphasized a bit so that the customer can understand and make appropriate accommodations.

Initial order in store was cancelled in error when I called to check on order - inputted as online order. 5 calls to transport company 5 calls to customer service and Home Depot store 2 calls to site manager 2 week delay on delivery- color is not the color advertised

It wasn't Vigoro and it wasn't cypress. We sent the first pallet back and ordered a replacement, but the replacement was exactly the same as the original. Not a nice tan color, but an ugly gray. We gave up.

We purchased this to Line our front garden beds. It looks great, it was easy to spread. It comes with a guarantee for years of color, so will let you know in 10 years if that works out for us. I would definitely recommend.

We were very excited to add this to our existing playground mulch! It is so vibrant and soft. The children in my childcare are loving the extra squish! Worth not having to worry about injuries.

This beautiful blue mulch looks so fresh and bright! My daycare children love running and jumping on it!

Major regrets about this purchase. The color is nowhere near what was advertised. This product is black with a slight brown tinge where the chips are frayed. The shape/size of the mulch is also worse than the retail product you'd pick up at the store. Strong avoid.

Color is exactly as I envisioned. Properties of this product are exactly what I wanted. I used the estimation tool on another page to figure how much to purchase. We'll see how close I am when I finish the rest. I purchased 3 pallets with the spring sale early last month. I was extremely happy with the price and delivery by Estes. It was for curbside delivery, and the driver did not even hesitate, brought it all the way up the driveway and placed them exactly where I wanted. Big kudos!

This rubber bark is a awesome color. I was told it gets really hot for your plants. So try to make a large circle directly under the plant to keep it a little cooler.

More expensive than regular mulch but lasts a LONG time. I have 3 year old patches that look exactly like my fresh beds.

These are great, replaced all the wood mulch so I don't need to buy wood mulch anymore. This is potentially a savings over the 12 year guaranteed life. Also did this to avoid termites and other bugs that love mulch. We also put our around a play area, which looks better, prevents need to mow and is softer if they fall. On one negative I wish they had a cut pattern set as the random shredding is not always as soft on bare feet as it could be but it's not as bad as walking on rocks or wood mulch. 1 pallet would have covered the entire play area pictured but I had a lot of garden space around decks and whatnot which is not shown

This rubber mulch is generally clean of non-rubber, however within less than 30 days my son has stepped on two pieces with metal wires sticking out and the metal has stuck into his foot. I'll be contacting home depot to determine what my options are for reopening, because I've already spread it across the playground.

I didn’t get the mulch that I ordered. I wanted Vigoro because I’ve used their products before and like/trust their qaulity. The Vigoro brand can be found in the store but I was shipped an off brand (IPC). I need more mulch but can’t find the brand that was sent so now I have to compare rubber mulch types to match what I have. It took three weeks to get my order delivered. I should have picked up from my home store.

Had no issues with the item, it was well packed. The only issue was that when it was delivered, it was just left on the road, which could have been easily hit by incoming vehicles if we hadnt rushed home to move it before it got dark.

Great mulch, recommend 100%.

We spent a small fortune ($700ish) covering our playground with this stuff a year ago. What others have said is true: you see long strands, huge chunks, and pieces of tread. This week, we began reading about the dangerous chemicals in Vigoro’s recycled tire mulch. Do your homework. We are now having to pull it all out to go with a non-toxic option. Huge waste of time and money. This stuff is not for kids. The US EPA should do a better job of protecting US citizens and banning this stuff.

I reordered 25 bags of what was supposed to be black recycled rubber mulch. We’re in a drought and we recently moved in and the plant beds needed attention. The mulch delivered is expresso brown. We spread it anyway and now i have 2 colors of mulch, black across the front and brown on the sides and back. 3 of the bags on bottom had burst open.

DO NOT PURCHASE this for a children's playground. IT IS DANGEROUS! After one of our children started crying, we found that there are sharp pieces of rusty metal embedded throughout numerous pieces of the rubber.

Its shredded and dyed tires. That being said, the dye bleeds on clothing and hands. The bags are light and easy to handle. Each bag covers roughly the same area as the bag itself, it doesn't really fluff up much. It does the job.

Love this mulch for under playground. Grandbaby loves the bouncy feel as she runs across it. Color is darker green than expected but still looks nice.

The color of the mulch was not red and not dyed evenly, black rubber mostly exposed as black.

This mulch appeared to already be several years old. Color is grayish .couple of bags were already open on top of the 50 bag pile. I have bought other black rubber mulch and you can can see the difference.
