I used these and the 8 x 16 blocks to build a flower bed inside my dogs pen. I used the little ones at the end so you could not see the rough edges on the bigger ones.

I'm using a few of these on each corner of my pergola and stretching wires from corners of roof down to the stacked blocks for a secure weight wrapped through the blocks. They're obvious enough not to trip on them. I'm putting potted plants on each stack.

I was recently contacted by Home Depot to rate this cement block so here goes. First off, I am not a spur of the moment buyer. I carefully researched cement block options before finally deciding on this unbranded gray concrete block. I think the overall texture and beauty is what drew my attention to this particular block. The uneven, jagged edges heavily accentuate the overall square boring design. I was especially fond of the chunk missing from one of the corners. It certainly was a pleasant surprise when I arrived home. I would highly recommend the unbranded gray concrete block to anyone looking for an unbranded gray concrete block.

Worked very well for my project which was a raised garden bed.

It’s a handy block which I use as a hold-down weight for pop up tents. Cheap and easy to transport. Someday I’ll build a wall with them.
