These work well for ventilating soffits through attic insulation. They are sturdier than the standard foam or card board baffles and can be installed easily with a staple gun. I would recommend using a cordless electric stapler to install these if you are retrofitting since you can reach into the tight spaces easier. You will also need a roll of unfaced fiberglass insulation to plug the opening below the baffles if you are using blown-in insulation in your attic.

Great Product.
I installed 110 of these in my 1600 square feet home before adding blown in insulation. They are very flexible and easy to maneuver. I recommend using a 6-8 feet 1x2 board to push the baffles into position. The closer you're to the soffits the tighter the space becomes.

Easy to install
I got this for the attic. It's very easy to install as oppose to foam kind. Flexible, yet durable. Some areas I have to use double to reach the height.

I wouldn't build a house without these energy savers and comfort makers.
I added on to a ranch home and installed the Provents before the ceiling insulation. They allow hot air to rise and exit via ridge vents and cold air to flow down and out the soffit vents. This means less air conditioning in the summer and less heating during winter. When the roofers were installing the ridge vents and shingles, they couldn't believe how much heat was blasting out the roof peak, even on a not so very hot day.
In the summer, in the part of the house without the Provent system, you can feel the heat like an oppressive weight even from the 14 foot cathedral ceilings. Of course, the air conditioning unit in that part of the house runs much more often than the unit that supports the new addition which is just a little less in cubic feet of space.
A 40x30 foot home would take less than 200 panels and I'd bet you'd get your money back in the first year. Also, after 16 years the asphalt shingles on the new addition still look brand new and I expect a minimum of 30 years from the roof.

Good product
I purchased this to install in my attic roof to ensure I have the proper air flow from intake to the roof. They are plastic and very easy to install with 2 to 4 staples. I liked the plastic because it was flexible enough to get into current installation and work around it. I would definitely recommend it.
