The Skyline 3 Quart Teflon-Free Premium Ceramic Black Air Fryer with a Recipe Book was shipped and packaged perfectly - nothing was broken or missing. The instructions were easy to understand and follow. I did notice that the "suggested" heat and time to cook either a meal or food item certainly depended on that meal or food item - one size does not fit all. I think when you cook the same item/meal a few times, you can figure out what setting works best for it and how the air fryer really works. Super easy to clean and dry which makes me want to use it more, giving my oven, microwave, and gas grill a break. Not real crazy the recipes in the complimentary recipe book; however, I can probably adapt some of them to what I do like or give me ideas for other meals. Do know the air fryer is quite noisy when in operation; I was expecting but thought the noise may have improved with this year/brand air fryer - maybe I'm just picky. I recommend not filling the basket to the top with food to get better results but then you'll have to keep in mind, multiple batches of that food will need to be cooked. I think it did a really great job of reheating leftovers and not tasting or feeling like leftovers (I think you know what I mean). Overall though, I think this air fryer is an example of the the wave of the fried food future and probably healthier as well.

First time with an air fryer and it seems basically like a small “portable” convection oven. Despite its relatively small cooking pot the main benefit is speed, both in no need to pre-heat and shorting cooking time. You can cook basically any solid foods within the fryer as long as they are in relatively small batches. The cooking surfaces are non-stick and clean easily. The interior removable “grill plate” allows any food oils/juices to pool in the bottom without the food soaking in it. The manual says both the grate and the pot are dishwasher safe however the grate is showing early rusting at its welding points after only 3 cycles (reason for subtracting a star). Otherwise it has been great to cook foods quickly with minimal cleanup.

You will love this air fryer!! We have wanted to try an air fryer for awhile and this product certainly didn't disappoint!!! So far we used it to make sweet potatoe fries and breaded cauliflower bites and they both came out really good!! They had a nice texture and color, and they tasted great too! You just need to watch your time so that you don't overcook the food. Also don't overfill the pot and the food will cook more evenly. We have also been using our fryer to reheat leftovers and it works so fast! No waiting for the oven to preheat, the air fryer is ready to go in a minute! The best news there is no messy oil to deal with and no pans or stove top to clean!!! You simply quickly wipe it clean after use and you are ready for the next time! And it is so easy to use!! This is a must have tool for any kitchen looking for a healthier, quicker and easier way to cook and eat!! My husband hasn't stopped using it since we received it!! Great product!!

I have been wanting to try an air fryer but I have a very small kitchen with not much counter or cabinet space. This air fryer is perfect size for my kitchen. There was a cookbook included and I tried the kale chips recipe. They were delicious. Will definitely make those again. I have also tried french fries and chicken tenders for my 5 year old. Better than oven or microwave. One easy meal I tried was smoked sausage tortilla wraps. I did the tortillas in there to. Put a nice crisp to them. One of our favorites so far is shishito peppers. So good. We're excited to try some other things. There is a lot of recipes online, Easy to use, cooks fast and is easy to clean.

The Fryer deserves a 5 star but the instructions and recipes are horrible. I feel like I should not have to search the internet to learn how to use a new appliance. One spot in the instructions says it turns off automatically if you remove the fry bin but it does not. That being said, the first thing that is not in the instructions is to preheat the unit before using. For one or two people this is great for heating frozen fries or many other things that are just better in the oven than the microwave. If you need more than will fit in the bin than go ahead and use your oven. We have mostly just done a few fries for two of us and it saves on heating up the big oven. Super easy to clean and operate. I was expecting a lot of heat loss from hot air blowing out of it but we haven't experienced that. I do recommend searching the net for Air Fryer recipes or for the specific item you want to heat.

The Aria 3 quart ceramic air fryer is very easy to use. There are just two controls to worry about, one is time, and the other is temperature. Making french fries is super simple using the Aria air fryer. The air fryer heats up very quickly so no preheating is needed. The basket is super easy to clean after use. I really like the simplicity of this air fryer. As you can see by the picture of my first french fries, they look and tasted delicious! The air fryer also comes with a recipe book to get you started.

This is my first air fryer. Most of all the air fryers I've previously looked at, all had issues, either by overheating, breaking, not working, or Teflon coating peeling off. Although it's to soon to make any determinations on those issues, what I can mention is how this appliance worked for us. We elected to make some french fries. Actually they were the large, thick steak cut fries. We briefly looked over the directions indicating for frozen fries it would take 14-22 minutes. Fries were done in 20 as shown in the picture. Observations were that this unit is really nicely built. Everything feels solid, fits together really nice, no sharp edges. At the end of our cooking fries, I did notice that the unit is fairly hot to the touch however, the basket handle is not even warm...Nice! We had no issues at all. With it's Lifetime Warranty, it certainly is Highly Recommended. Love it!

Tried out my New Ceramic AIR Fryer for the first time and I really like it! I have seen these advertised for sometime and wasn't really sure if I wanted to get one, because the people I know that have them only use them for French fries. We don't eat alot of fries, but when I read the reviews online and they said all the things they cooked in it, I figured I'd give it a try, since I really don't like to spend alot of time in the kitchen.lol. This air fryer is much bigger than I thought 3 quart would be. It is so easy to operate. Put your desired item/items in the basket, slide it into the front of the fryer, set the tempature on the top dial, set the timer dial on the front and it does the rest! The 2 lights on the top are on while the air is circulating inside and cooking, and when the time rings pull out the basket and you're food is ready.I had a box of frozen popcorn shrimp I wanted to try. I looked on my phone for directions and within 10 minutes I had a nice batch of hot shrimp. Wow, I'm hooked! My husband wants me to make some fries and pour hot chili over them. I think it sounds great! You will not be disappointed with this air fryer! It comes with a reipe book also, but I'm going to look online for different recipes for us because we don't eat alot of seasoned spicy food.

I’ve owned air fryers before but this is the best and easiest one I’ve ever used. The timer is very easy to set and clearly visible on the front to use. The temperature setting dial is on top of the unit and very easy to set. The fryer drawer is very sturdy and very rugged and heavy duty. It has a removable fry tray too. This unit is great and definitely worth having in your home for easy healthier cooking.

I love the Aria line of air fryers and this compact one is another good product. It is small and simple and does not take much room on the counter. The color is a pleasing shade of teal blue and not too bright. It has a mechanical dial for the timer of up to 60 minutes. The controls are not as precise as the digital ones - each timer dot represents about 2 minutes and the temperature is approximate. I usually estimate the time anyway, most times I can tell by looking when something is done. ____ ____ When the cooking cycle ends, it will 'ding' and automatically shut off. It uses 1000 watts of electricity and it preheats to 400 degrees in just 30 seconds. I like that there are no preset cycles (with icons that are difficult to see) as I rarely use that feature. The fan is very quiet while in use. ____ ____ Instructions are included along with a 34-page recipe booklet with photographs. The cord is 4 feet long with a 2-prong plug. The outer surface stays cool to the touch while cooking. The only thing I did not like was that the fryer does not pause when you remove the basket, you must turn the dial to Off to stop the heating element if the timer has not reached the end. There are LED status lights on top to show whether power and fan are on. The inside cooking area measures 7" in diameter and 3" in height. I cooked 2 chicken legs in the fryer but used some tin foil to bake some onions with them and they came out very juicy (I closed the foil for about 1/2 hour then opened it up to finish). The frozen fries cooked crisp and even after being tossed a few times during cooking. ____ ____ I love to use air fryers for most of my cooking. I have large air fryers, but sometimes I just want to cook a smaller portion or reheat something, so this fryer is perfect. I like the ceramic non-stick coating and that there is not an entire basket inside, there is simply a removable crisping plate. I did run a 15 minute cycle without food just to prevent any of the normal new-appliance odor. Cleanup is quick and easy but the basket can be put in a dishwasher. This air fryer comes with a Lifetime Warranty.

I am always looking for ways to cut oils in cooking. This counter type model is very fast and lets me cook without adding oils to vegetables. There is more than air frying with this model and it comes with a cookbook that is getting me interested in doing some adding and changing to create new recipes. Fish, hamburger, beef cuts, Cornish hens, and chicken wings can all be done and done really fast. Clean up is surprisingly easy. It is not teflon, but it cleans easily.

All you have to do is just set to desired temperature put in what you want to cook and set the timer. I really like the recipe book that came with it. The book has lots of great ideas for cooking with the air fryer.

Potatoes are the happiest carb. A friend of mine told me that once and she was very right. French fries create the greatest happiness. Unfortunately making french fries at home isn't very easy and can be time consuming. Deep frying french fries uses a lot of oil which can be expensive or a hassle to try to save between frying. Baking in the oven takes a long time. To get my french fry fix lately I've resorted to baking frozen french fries in my convection oven. Cooking time is over 25 minutes plus the time needed to preheat the oven which prings total cooking time to close to 40 minutes. An air fryer is essentially a small, electric, convection oven. It heats up the cooking basket and circulates the hot air with a fan. Because it's smaller it heats up very fast and it can cook faster. I can cook fries from fresh potatoes in about 20 minutes and make great fries from frozen in about 12. I still haven't perfected the technique to get consistently good homemade fries but I'm getting there. Frozen fries come out great and quick. You can cook more than just fries in this too. This is a nice size, not too big, but not too small. Can easily make enough fries for 4 people. It's easy to use. Just turn the temperature knob to the desired temperature and the timer knob to the desired time. The mechanical controls should be more durable than electronic ones although you'll need to keep the recommended settings handy for different foods. The basket is easy to clean. The bottom comes out for cleaning. I did get some unnevenness with one batch of homemade fries but that might have been due to not properly drying them before cooking. The fries are nice and crispy with soft interiors and it takes very little oil to make. I wished the bottom of the fryer had more holes for better air circulation but overall it works very well and it's a good size that doesn't take up a lot of space.

This is a relatively small air fryer, and I chose it based mainly on the size - I’ve never had an air fryer and didn’t want a huge appliance taking up a ton of space without knowing how much I’d use it. The downside of that choice is that the cooking basket is not very big, and most items will have to be cooked in batches. This particular air fryer is easy to use, and the nonstick basket and insert are easy to clean. One thing I really liked is that the outside of the unit never got really hot, even after an hour of use. So far I’ve made home fries and eggplant parmesan in it. I used a single eggplant for the eggplant parmesan. It had to be cooked in about six batches at 15 minutes each (9 minutes one side and 6 minutes after flipping), so it took a long time to cook all of it and I had to keep my oven’s warming function on to keep everything hot while the remaining batches cooked. The end result was fantastic though - the eggplant was deliciously soft and creamy inside, and crunchy outside. My first impression was that I could probably have gotten similar results in a very hot (450-500 F) convection oven, but this unit is super easy to use, which takes the guesswork out of the cooking. There are only two controls: one on top that controls the temperature, and a timer on the front. I’m not sure how precise the temperature control is, but it doesn’t really matter as long as you’re on the hot end if you want results similar to actual frying. The heater and fan were plenty powerful to get better-than-fried results (i.e., crispy outside, moist inside, and no oil to deal with).

This air fryer works really well. I have made chicken a few times as well as veggies now. The veggies roast really quickly which is nice. Make sure you flip the chicken otherwise only one side will be crispy. The inside basket is nonstick and is seems to be working nice to this point. I haven’t had any problems sticking so far and it cleans nicely. The pan is also machine washable which is nice. The only downside is that is not very big, you can only fit about 3 chicken thighs or 2 breasts inside. This is fine for me but a large family may need a bigger one. I also wish it t was digital.

This is our first air fryer and we were looking forward to trying it out. The first time we turned it on it made a terrible clanking noise, which I believe was the fan. I turned it off and back on and it stopped. It hasn't done it again. The manuel contradicts itself and could be better written. One paragraph says the fryer does not shut off when the basket is removed and on the next page it says for safety reasons it does. It does not. It tells you not to remove the basket while it is cooking but tells you to pull it out and shake or turn over foods halfway. It gives you limited food guidelines with temperatures and widely spaced times, which have you constantly checking to make sure you're not overcooking. It cooks fine. We did smoked sausage and fries our first time and they came out fine. I do like that I can cook two items at once without turning on the oven. The controls are very simple to use. It cleans easily and the basket is dishwasher safe. The recipe book that comes with it has complicated recipes and some have you using items that won't fit in the basket. Not sure why this was included.

I have been using air fryers for 3 years and we use one almost daily for a variety of foods. Based on my experience, the best way for me to describe this Aria Air Fryer is "simple and basic". It will heat and cook food fast as intended, but the capacity is only large enough to make portions for 2 people. One con with this product is the setting controls; they are not digital and there are no pre-set controls. The cooking temperature is set by turning a vaguely marked dial, but you are not really sure what the temperature is. The time is set with another dial which is similar to a mechanical egg timer; you hear the timer clicking down to "0" and then there is a single bell sound. But the real con is the unit continues to run hot if you remove the basket before the timer gets to "0"; there is no auto stop when you want to stir the food during cooking. The Instruction Booklet warns of this hazard. I would recommend an air fryer with better, more advanced features.

One totally convenient little cooking alliance for the kitchen. And the 3 quart capacity allows us to cook for the kids and grand kids and only use one cooker. The included cookbook has some wonderful, easy recipes to try out, along with general temperatures and time for other items. We had the chicken recipe the first night, will do beef tonight, and are really looking forward to trying the banana bread. It’s so very easy. Just prepare your food in the manner you want, load the ‘bucket,’ set the temperature and the timer, and off you go. And when done, the bucket cleans extremely easily. One handy little device.

I've never used an air fryer before but wanted to give it a shot. I've had the Aria Air Fryer for about a week now and used it to prepare a few things. Overall, I'm quite happy with it. It certainly isn't a necessity in the kitchen, but it fills a niche. I've used it to cook baked potatoes and a burger. This 3 Quart air fryer will hold 4 smaller potatoes quite easily. The instructions call for wrapping them in foil and cooking at 390 degrees for 50 minutes. So that's what I did. It worked quite well but probably slightly overcooked for the size potatoes I used. It definitely beats firing up and heating a large oven to do the same thing. Obviously, for potatoes, there was very little cleanup involved. The burger also came out pretty good. I only made one patty from about 6 ounces of ground beef so it was pretty large. I forgot to check the time but it was probably in the neighborhood of about 1/2 hour to completely cook. I used very lean beef so there wasn't a lot of drippings in the pan but some. The patty didn't look quite as appealing as one that just came off of a hot grill but it tasted fine. Again, for one patty, this appliance worked well and probably saved time, energy and effort over using the grill. Cleanup was a little more complicated and making sure all of the grease was removed from the pan was challenging. I'm sure it will get easier as I get more familiar with it. So, in my opinion, this particular air fryer serves almost the same function as a toaster oven. Perfect for smaller meals. Two things about this Aria air fryer... 1) it's rather large and it takes up valuable space in my small kitchen. 2) The surface underneath it gets very hot while cooking. I initially used it on my laminate countertop but quickly moved it to a baking sheet on top of the stove just to be safe. It's a nice touch that the manufacturer includes a cookbook with some basic recipes. I definitely don't need this appliance but I can see where I'll use it for certain things. For what it does it seems to do it quite well.

The Air Fryer was well packaged and arrived intact. The color is just beautiful. The unit is not bulky looking at all and looks good on the counter-top. The inside fryer disk fits nice and tight in the unit so there is no concern of flipping it out if you need to swirl around cut up vegetables in the middle of the air frying cycle. Super easy and quick to clean. The only disappointment is the edge, where the basket meets the air fryer, is not really smooth...it needs a little polishing or deburring...a minor issue.

For some time I have wanted to have an Air Fryer to use when we had French fries which are my favorite form of potatoes and we usually have them with steaks, hamburgers , roasts and most beef dishes that we like. I know that with that much cooking in oil in a deep fryer was not the best thing in the world for us. So enter the new air fryer and French fries done the healthy way. While I knew it would be better for us health wise I was concerned about the taste and crispness. So we carefully followed directions and the result was amazing. I am totally sold on our air fryer and looking forward to trying other meals with it.

First, a qualifier. Air fryers, in general, aren't any better than other methods at cooking most types of food. Healthwise, they are an improvement over deep frying but most of the cooking you would use an air fryer for can easily be done in your oven, particularly if you are feeding more than two people. Having said that, this 3QT Ceramic Air Fryer from Skyline Brands is a decent product. Quality appears to be good, and the included recipe book is a good starting point for air fryer cooking. At 3 quarts the fryer is an average size and, depending on what you're cooking, can usually prepare enough of a dish for two smallish servings. To test out our fryer, we first tried sweet potato fries, something we've made often in the oven. Following the recipe in the book exactly, the end result was variable. Some fries were burned on the surface while still being undercooked inside. Others were adequately cooked without burning (and, yes, we did stir the fries halfway through the process as directed). For our second test we made cinnamon apple chips. These turned out better, although due to the small size of the fryer we produced barely one serving. Overall, if you are keen on air frying, this product will do the job fine. Otherwise, save the money (and counter space) and use the oven.

This air fryer is the perfect size for 2. It is simple to use and is a nice design. Set the temperature dial and the minutes dial and you are ready to go. Just remember to turn the minutes dial to zero when you want to check your food. You will have to reset the minutes dial to continue cooking. Included with the air fryer are easy to follow instructions and a recipe book.

Simple to use, controls are very much like what I have on a small conventional toaster oven. You set the temperature and timer. This uses a fan with a hot coil inside to cook. My first meal was breaded fish. It was cooked on the inside, but the taste wasn’t great. I then used it on a steak to raise the core temperature, not so good, it dried out outer part. I used it to cook a small, chopped, Cornish hen and it came out nicely cooked, see the picture. Way better than my old toaster oven and no checking. I did some potatoes and the results were just as good. The cooking pan is easy to clean and non-stick, but you should use soft brush to scrub it, no abrasives. So far, I add dish washing liquid and let it site then I scrub it. Comes out clean. It promises no flaking or peeling of the non stick. So far, I have baked fish and red meat and chicken. I am going through the recipe book to stay with something already tested and successful For breakfast today, I cooked a frozen muffin at 400⁰ for a few minutes and it came out nicely with a dark toasting, excellent! True, it reaches 400° in seconds and with the fan, it super cooks fast and more convenient than my regular oven, which has convection. Since there is no adding oil, it’s going to be a little drier except for the oils and flavors from the food, so add seasoning and or spray some oil on the food to keep it moist. . I’m having a lot of fun experimenting with this. Way more convenient.

The first food that I prepared with this air fryer was fingerling potatoes. I washed them, quartered them and then poured a little olive oil over them. I tossed them with the olive oil and then poured off the excess oil which had drained to the bottom of the bowl. Then I sprinkled them generously with fresh ground pepper and season salt and placed them in the air fryer basket. I set the timer for 15 minutes and the temperature for 400 degrees and let them cook. About halfway through I pulled the frying basket out and shook and stirred the potatoes to help them heat more evenly. When the air fryer shut itself off after 15 minutes I let it sit for about one minute before removing the frying basket. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. Delicious! (See the photos.) I was wondering how difficult the clean-up would be afterwards, but it turned out that clean up after air frying was easier than cleaning up a stove-top frying pan after frying potatoes. I'm looking forward to trying some other kinds of foods in this fryer soon.

I was very excited for this product, and I was right to be. The Teal color is very pretty and the fryer works well. It was extremely easy to set up, clean , and use. Plus the prep time was very minimal. I highly recommend this air fryer. The only thing I would change is possibly a larger pan to cook more at once, but it would be a perfect amount for 2-3 people. The fries I made were better than anything I could have made in the oven or on the stove.
