Perfect to cover up holes in Sheetrock.

Perfect size for access to water shutoff valve. Make sure to cut hole size tight for best results.

The access door is easy to install. Opening it will only be needed on rare occasions for my purpose. If I needed to open it often, I wouldn't want the safety feature, but it does prevent it from being opened by small children.

Very flimsy plastic, double sided tape holds it in place, but the tape doesn't hold for very long. Prefer a screw in version so I'm not installing it again in two weeks ?

Just as described. Latch is child resistant - to open you have to press with something very small to open door.

It didn’t operate as it was expected. We couldn’t snap the door open.

Definitely did the job, it's paintable which is a nice plus, but I did find two issues that dropped the star level a bit: The adhesive used to adhere it to the wall is rather pathetic. I applied this to a painted wall, pressed in firmly, left it for days, when I first needed to open the panel the whole thing tried to come off the wall! I'm planning to add a better adhesive of some kind. The second issue with it is the ridiculous need to insert a paperclip or something in the small dot on the handle - presumably some kind of child-proofing function? But one of the common uses for this type of panel is emergency shut off access, mine is for emergency plumbing shut off. In an emergency do you REALLY think you're going to have a paperclip nearby? I altered mine immediately by just drilling INTO the paperclip hole, removing the little bump out that made that work. That solved the problem, I can slide the locking mechanism in/out easily now.

Worked great for my application. I was covering an electrical access box. It was a little tricky to get to open at first. There is a plastic piece you have to break off to get it to open at first.
