Product was perfect for the job. Easy assembly. Easy install.

The contractor installed it easily, and liked it a lot too! He is recc it to another client. It is sturdy and we've had lots of storms and high winds in the weeks since it went up, with no problems. It is so unobtrusive that I didn't notice it at first when it went up over our back door. The light pours through and the rain doesn't; perfect! The cost is very reasonable, and the quality better than I expected. And it's not dirty either, as I thought it might get bird and leaf dirt. Seems to stay clean rather well. I HIGHLY recommend this awning!!

Easy to install. Provides protection desired. Came with a bent bracket which is noticeable when looking at it straight on. Fortunately it was installed on the back of the house over a door and the angle with the bent bracket is going away from the house and window. Because of this I chose not to return it.

Ok so first off really wobbly, and you are supposed to put a beat of silicone between a rubber seal and the plexiglass, well good luck getting the aluminum rail into that seal with that wobbly plexiglass, it’s pretty much impossible is you are a DIY person without a professional table to hold this entire assembly together, ended up just using silicone to attach plexiglass to aluminum rails, probably won’t last long but probably cant return now full of silicone, just stay away or buy it assembled

Sturdy, looks nice and does the job. I purchased this to install over a set of French doors opening out on my deck. I wanted something clear because the winter sunlight heats my home saving me $$$. The first order was damaged but Home Depot sent another one immediately. Can’t speak to the installation as I had it professionally installed.

This awning was darker than I expected. You can't really see through it, but that's fine since we got it primarily for a sunshade on a window. I mounted it on a stucco wall and had to shim out one of the mounting screws to account for irregularity in our stucco coat. If you don't get this part right, the awning will twist and look really wonky.

This is a great canopy for our front door. It is really good quality and seems sturdy although it's too soon to say if it will withstand a snowfall. It was relatively simple to put together, but it does require a bit of work and definitely two people. Water does not come in if you install the gasket. Provides a nice, elegant entrance at a reasonable price. Shipping was as expected.

Added a touch of class by the back door. Love the transparency.

It looks beautiful and serves the purpose of keeping water away from the door. We like the transparency. It was a little difficult to piece together but we got it up eventually.

Installed today. Very pleased with product. A tip for others. Used styrofoam shipping protective sheet as a template to mark and locate the places to drill holes on side of house. Since it is the same size of awning, it worked well.

I wish I had been made aware of this fact. However, I understand for marketing purposes why Advaning does not make this known in the above descriptions or video installation. They could possibility lose sales. I am referring to the "type" wall surface that the Advaning PN Series Solid Polycarbonate Sheet Door Awning will be installed upon. In my case, my exterior home wall is "stucco". Stucco is a very "uneven" surface. The "rear bar" of the awning is very "straight". NOTE: You cannot mount this Advaning awning on a stucco surface successfully. To successfully install the awning, I had to purchase an angle grinder and a masonry cutting disc. Then grind a channel into the stucco exactly where the rear bar would press into the wall. This took two practice mounting of the awing to check the channel depth. In other words,.... the type of wall you have is IMPORTANT!!!

Very clear, sturdy, and already had over 3 inches of snow accumulated (twice so far) on them (Western PA). In fact I have two of them - one over a door, other over a window. Hope they would last many years.

this is a high quality built awning that looks great and will protect a entry way that has no protection from the elements. follow the easy to use directions and you and a friend can have this installed in less than an hour. it is perfect size to protect a 32" or 36" window or door. if you have a larger window or door you can seamlessly connect multiple awning together to get the length you need.
