Gave an old cement bird bath a new life with this paint. My wife was astonished. Shake well & follow instructions on can. Use a flat base coat of the color that coincides with your paint scheme, I used a self etching primer as base which is a gray-green tint & did a satin clear coat after covering that with the Sienna stone paint, ending in beautiful results ! Wipe spray tip off before storage, replace cap and I always follow an old painter's tip and store my spray paints upside down to prevent aerosol gasses from escaping through can spray tip.

Not easy to spray but looks great
Painted a dark planter to white by epoxy undercoat one coat and spray the bleached stone over it, I think it looks great. The spray is not easily to control the pressure but spray from a foot away will help and wipe the spray head every time before and after spray also help spray out the round dots texture and doesn’t make a drip or mess.

I love this stone paint. I have an old fire pit table that the sun has peeled and cracked. I sanded and filled the cracks then used this stone paint with an exterior clear satin sealer. The table now looks brand new. Highly recommended.

      Fresh Look to Countertops
I bought several cans of these to do a cheap upgrade on my laminate kitchen countertops. The product works incredibly well and really updated the counters nicely. Many people I spoke to were not aware of there being textured sprays like this widely available now. I'll definitely consider getting more for future projects.

Doesn’t work on flower pots outside
I used this to paint a flower pot for my patio and after the 2nd day it strayed flaking off. I even primed the pot before painting. It’s not good for anything going outside.

Let's talk about this, Donny! Rust-Oleum American Accents Stone Creations Spray Paint is intended for use on interior surfaces only. This product will not withstand exposure to the elements. For exterior surfaces, we recommend Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Textured Spray Paint instead.

      Concrete / stone look
Used bleached stone to transform a chrome bench to a stone look. Easy to use took about 2-3 coats (1 can each coat) would love to try the other colors.

Did all prep work and the paint went on nicely the first can and the second can. The third can was horrible it bubbles up and never cured. Very frustrated because I don’t want to spend money or time trying to fix it

Hmm, that doesn't sound right, Joe. For best results with Rust-Oleum Specialty Stone Spray, make sure to remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt, and chemical contaminants by washing the surface with a commercial detergent, or another suitable cleaning method. Rinse with fresh water and allow to thoroughly dry. You'll also need to lightly sand glossy surfaces to create a surface profile for the paint to adhere to. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5 Rustoleum

I did not read the can, (print to small for my age group). I used this on a darker surface and realized later we should have primed or done a lighter undecoat. You do suggest that the primer be used but my daughter started the project for me. Overall happy with the results. Very easy to use, it is messy but we had a paint station set up in a large box.

I had this same product in another color and decided to try this color also. I had to order it online since this color is not available in my local store. It takes a lot of product to get the expected appearance. One can does not go very far at all but that was not unexpected. What was unexpected is that many days after completing the project, I find that the paint easily comes off when it gets wet. Since I was painting old planters (for indoor use this time) that is not desirable. The paint does give a stone like appearance and the color does match the cap on the cans but it is difficult to work with, a bit pricey, and apparently cannot get wet - something that I did not see in any of the product details. Since my local stores do not sell this color they will not take back the remaining cans from the case of 6 that I purchased. My advice would be to buy 1 can, try it, make sure it meets your needs. I have always been pleased with Rust-oleum products, so this one is an exception. I have recently switched to Rust-oleum Paitner's touch, 2X, ultra cover paint and primer. I am very happy with it - covers well, cheaper by the can, and each can goes a very long way with very little prep work needed.

We think we figured out what could be happening here! Rust-Oleum American Accents Stone Creations spray paint is not recommended for outdoor areas or places where it can be exposed to water because the performance of the paint may be affected. For additional protection consider using the Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover 2x Clear spray paint. Please see instruction label for recoat time. We want to try to make this right for you, please call us at this number (877) 385-8155 to discuss further. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Painter-s-Touch-2X-12-oz-Gloss-Clear-General-Purpose-Spray-Paint-249117/100670438 - Rust-Oleum Product Support 8 Rustoleum

Something is amiss here! Our American Accents Stone Textured Spray should adhere well to properly prepared surfaces such as wood, metal, and ceramic. The surface must be clean and dry prior to application, and glossy surfaces should be lightly sanded to create a surface profile for adhesion. Rustoleum

This Stone Sienna Textured Spray Paint exceeded my expectations. I was painting some large concrete planting pots. I first cleaned the old paint off of the pots with a pressure washer. I then used muriatic acid. After cleaning, I sprayed them with a few coats of this American Accents Stone Sienna, Textured Spray Paint. After allowing the textured paint to dry, per the manufactures recommendations, I added a few top coats of Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Flat Matte Clear General Purpose Spray Paint, for exterior durability. Most who see them think they came from the manufacturer that way. One tip that I will offer is to purchase more than you think you will need. I found that it actually took about twice as much of this Stone Sienna paint as I "Guess-timated."

I do not use this paint in a conventional manner. I work in the film industry and I use this as part of my process for distressing costumes. This paint, when applied to the bottom of a garment in light passes, gives the illusion of dried mud and other nasty dirt. It is a FAST and clean way to get a dirty look! :)

surprised how much i like this stuff
Takes FOREVER to dry and i needed 2 cans for a small area but wow; i just spent $20 for a complete new countertop look!! It feels textired too. Actually, it comes out VERY textured and i sanded a bit in betweeen coats to get what I want. Couple coats of epoxy too cost later and my 1989 laninate countertops have made it to the 21st century.
