The reviews for these windows are either very deceiving or I’m one of the unfortunate ones dealing with damaged windows right of of the box. I’ll have to return 2 of the 5 that I’ve purchased because the glass is broken. One of them looks like it’s just bad from the factory and the other one was damaged in shipping. They seemed to be a good value and look easy to install but the quality is lacking. May just return all 5 and go with a different brand. I don’t want to be stuck with bad windows.

After cutting the hole in the wall. Unpackagwd the window only to find it was cracked. The sticker was over it so we never noticed it. Also the screen is missing a stand of wire .

We bought two of these windows. Installed them in January. Double hung. The outside pane on the top part cracked. Nothing has hit it and no damage to the screen. I contacted the manufacturer, they told it’s a single hung window and to pay someone to fix it. When I tried to respond via email they continue to ignore me. The window is less than 5 months old. I’m a room that’s barely used.

As other reviewers has stated. These windows appear sturdy and well made- until you have them installed. Once installed you can see the daylight from either side of the window. Allowing drafts and whatever else to come inside! Now, thousands of dollars later. I’ll need to improvise the same way I couldn’t with the cheap bldr grade I just replaced!!!

While the windows installed well, as a vinyl nailing fin window should, it does have some flaws. I replaced 3 windows and installed these, reframed the rough openings, shimmed and installed. I’ve noticed the top window felts do not seal at the sides, at the very bottom against the jam. All 3 windows have this issue on the top pane only. All windows are plumb and level, the bottom pane seals great, but the top pane does not and you can see daylight between the jamb and felts as shown.

70 series double hung windows. At the bottom of the specifications, it says energy star certified Northern, North Central, Central and Southern. The windows came with a sticker that says Central. I'm in western Massachusetts... Kind of disappointed.

Window was easy to install. First cold weather in Oklahoma and bottom sash has a crack in it. Waiting on response from plygem.

These are very nice window. They look perfect for our white metal building. They open and close nicely and have nice screens.

VERY POOR QUALITY, have had replaced multiple times, poor weather striping, poor fit!

I have purchased these windows from Home Depot. They have poor quality poor insulation, I have had these windows replaced under warranty three times. The weatherstripping is ridiculous.. DO NOT PURCHASE. First photo show light, second photo show when window is slid over

Great window

we live in a double wide mobile home, I've installed 12 of these windows and need to get one more to finish the job, all our windows are the 29.75 x 53.75 size. I removed the siding removed the old windows and installed just like you would in new construction, they are well built, and keep our home quiet from outside noises

Bought this to install as an additional window in a summer cottage. It arrived ahead of schedule at my Home Depot. Once the rough opening was cut installation was very easy because of the nailing flange. This window was the perfect quality and price range for what I needed. Very satisfied.

I installed on a brick/block knee wall that transitioned to siding. A diagram showing recommended prcatice for an exterior sill would be helpful.

Window was researched, ordered, delivered to store as planned was installed and met my expectations.

I added this window during a bathroom remodel. I may opt for higher quality windows when I replace all of the existing single pane wooden windows(stained inside), but this is in a location that allowed using a vinyl window. I could not find double hung new construction with full screen in this size in any local big box or window outlets. Online ordering was easy and the window was delivered promptly and well packaged.

I purchased this window along with several items at Home Depot. When i tried to order the window at the pro desk along wth the other items it showed up with $100 delivery charge. I was told that the window was not an item they stocked but was on their website so I was told to order it directly from the website and to purchase the other items without the window. I did this and I was not charged the $100. Unfortunately, the window arrived, in an undamaged box, It was installed only to find that the one of the 2 latches was broken and when I went to lock the window with the other latch i realized that the top and bottom windows did not line up unless you lowered the top window 3/8" which would leave a gap at the top. Ordered a new window and hopefully it will turn out better.

Overall ok windows. Vinyl frame comes pretty rough around the edges so need some cleanup and the window latch was off on 2 of them. Guessing from shipping and window dropped and stripped the screws out. For the price they are ok

Used American Craftsman a couple years ago and had no issues, now, I bought 12 and had them delivered to a house remodel, ended up returning/swapping out 8 of them. Still, the windows are absolutely horrendous, put together so badly. The latches on every single window needed to be adjusted so they actually latched easily. The vent latches on the sides of the top pane were put in horribly, causing the windows to jam against them and not work right. Stay far far FAR away from these.

Missing lock on one window
