This so beautiful. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. The measuring feature is a must have. The blue light on the measuring dial is awesome. There is not another faucet that compares with it. American standard really outdid itself with this. There is nothing to dislike about this. I have had it a week and I am very very happy with it. It’s like jewelry for my kitchen. Now I have to replace my sink my counter all because this is so pretty. Lol

I had this faucet professionally installed, so I will not comment much on the installation part. The plumber said its a different type of install but not that hard. The faucet has a very clean look and gives a very modern feel to the kitchen (check pictures). The faucet can be operated in the regular stream flow or the power flow mode. The power flow mode is OK but not that great. Not sure if this is because of the design, as I have a decent water pressure at my house. The package does not include an AC adapter and the install had to be done using the battery pack. It may not work with a third party 6V adapter as the DC jack looks kind of proprietary. Coming to the functionality of the product, the measure-fill feature looks well calibrated and I was able to get accurate volumes of water. A great feature in my opinion if you love to cook. The faucet can be turned on by touch sensor as well as a manual lever. I am not sure why a touch-less wash feature was not included though. It would have been a perfect product with that.

This American Standard brand Beale MeasureFill Touch Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet is just beautiful and really cool. I love that I can set it to the exact amount of water I need every morning for my oatmeal! No more measuring cup! The faucet is quite heavy and well made. I liked that it was double boxed with air pillows to keep it from getting damaged in shipping, to me that shows the company cares about their customer. Even the inside foam packing is top notch, a real class act! A few things to realize before ordering one. It does NOT come with the plate or escutcheon to cover the usual 3 sink holes. If you need it order part 4931888-YYY. It comes with a AA (4 bay) battery box (batteries included) that can be mounted towards the front of the cabinet to make changing the batteries every 10-12 months easier. If you would prefer the AC adapter that doesn't come with it, it can also be ordered, part # M950338-0070A. The instructions are in English, French & Spanish and are well done with drawings for clarity. Make sure you don't use plumbers putty when installing the faucet as it comes with its own seal. The control box can be put up with strong double sticky tape, if you use your own screws make sure that they aren't too long to go through the other side and hit any draw slide or items in the cabinet next to it. I've always known American Standard as great company for many decades, they make products that are built to last and look great too. It's cool they now are moving into the realm of "Tech faucets" and doing them with beautiful style & solid build as well. Their toll free hot line is 1-800-442-1902 M-F 8-8, Sat. 10-4pm. in the USA.

Beautiful Faucet, Awesome Customer Service Support! So I've installed this gorgeous faucet and have been using it for about three weeks now. Love it! I had a couple issues when I first installed the faucet and was pretty frustrated. Throughout this process, American Standard / Lixil customer service has been pretty awesome helping me troubleshoot and getting this beautiful faucet to work properly. I have to say that when you buy a product, the quality of it’s customer support is 90% the worth and value of a product. A product is a product, how well a manufacturer stands behind what they sell is worth more than the product itself, in my opinion. American Standard and Lixil customer support gets an A++ in my book. The faucet installation is pretty straightforward; instruction manual was easy to follow with diagrams of every part and how they go together. All hoses were clearly marked with white tape with big bold letters on it and the corresponding mating location on the control unit. The number of pieces to this faucet set seemed pretty daunting when I first started installing it, but the manual was pretty clear on how things go together and in what order. Follow the manual’s step by step instructions and you’ll be fine. As with any faucet installation - ya gonna be cramped down under the sink so be sure to clear away all your cleaning supplies down there and place a couple towels down there for a soft cushion and to catch any leaks. The only tools needed for this installation is an adjustable wrench (crescent wrench) and a Philips head screwdriver. A flashlight will also come in handy down there! MY FIRST ISSUE: At first, I could not get the sensor to recognize my finger press, lol! I was wiping some water splash off the handle and my kitchen towel would activate it when it passed over the sensor, lol! Why the heck is it not responding to my finger press?! So I tested it with a spoon, a sponge, a wooden spoon, an onion I had on the counter (!) and they all activated the sensor. But nope, my finger press would not activate it! Argh, the faucet hates me. :( Contacted customer support, they sent me a replacement control unit to see if that would fix the problem. The replacement control unit did not fix the problem. Nope. Faucet don't like my finger press! Sigh..... Contacted them again via their troubleshooting web form. I had recorded a short video to show them the wonky sensor behavior: that it responds to everything else except my finger press, lol! Cathie N. from Lixil (parent company of American Standard) answered my pleas and was baffled. She forwarded my video to their engineers. A day later, she sent me some troubleshooting tips from their engineers and a video of how to reset the sensor's calibration; with a note that they will have to replace the faucet if that doesn’t work. I watched the video and worked through the troubleshooting tips and hooray! The sensor responds to my finger press! Awesomesauce! Thank you Cathie!!!!! (and engineer!!!) Evidently the sensor does a calibration thing when you first plug in the battery pack - the blue light is supposed to turn off after a few seconds. Well the light did not turn off when I first plugged it in; remembering back, I think I had pressed the button for a few seconds and it turned off; but in doing so (and not knowing any better), I had messed up it's calibration. That was why it did not respond to my subsequent finger presses. Part of Cathie and the engineer's troubleshooting tips is to make sure that you don't have any bright lights on while the sensor is calibrating when you first plug in the battery pack. I had the under-counter LED lights on and my overhead kitchen light on at the time; that's why the sensor lights did not turn off; it was too bright for the sensor. But it felt like normal kitchen lighting to me, lol! Remembering the troubleshooting tip, I turned off the under-counter LED lights off. Nope, no change. Okay, what the heck, I turned off the kitchen overhead lights off as well, and Bingo! the faucet's blue sensor light turned off. Faucet sensor calibrated! MORAL OF STORY HERE: When first plugging in the battery pack to the control unit, the blue sensor light should turn off after a few seconds of calibration. If it does not, make sure you have no other bright sources of light that might interfere with it's calibration. Turn off under-counter lights AND overhead kitchen lights if necessary. Your kitchen may need to be almost dark for the initial sensor calibration. The sensor will work fine in a bright kitchen after that! I had asked Cathie to see if she can have them amend this troubleshooting tip in the user manual. I hope they do it! MY 2ND ISSUE: I'm installing this faucet over a three hole sink. You will need the correct escutcheon plate to cover up the other two holes. The escutcheon plate looks pretty awesome actually. It's a winged-shape plate with a single teardrop indent and center hole for the faucet. The user manual lists the correct part number that you need. 4931888-002 for Polished Chrome finish 4931888-075 for Stainless Steel finish Initially, I went online and ordered the escutcheon plate. Googled 4931888-002 escutcheon plate. Found one, 9431888-002 Beale escutcheon plate, twenty bucks or so, easy peasy. Figured the part number was typed in wrong in their computer system, picture looks right. Turned out, nope, wrong part. Design, shape and finish looks right, but hole is too large, faucet teeters, doesn't sit right, and wants to fall through. UGH! I had contacted American Standard customer support earlier about the sensor and told them about my ordering the wrong escutcheon plate. John (I think that was his name) was kind enough and felt my frustration with the weird part number look-a-likes and sent the right plate in with the replacement control unit. Thank you John!!! MORAL OF STORY HERE: American Standard / Lixil, you folks really need to work on your part numbers system. 4931888-002 and 9431888-002 to search engines are the same thing. And to the average consumer, we think this is a typo and they’re the same part number. You should consider changing those part numbers so they're not so similar. But I think a better thing to do is just include the escutcheon plate as part of the accessories. We either use the single hole plate or the larger escutcheon plate. Mere mortals, be sure you order the right part number; the manual has the correct numbers. Don’t believe a search engine. Those numbers are not transposed-digit typos, they're entirely two different parts. GREAT FEATURES: The features of the faucet that’s pretty awesome and you’ve probably read from other reviews is the namesake of this faucet: Measurefill. Set the knob to the amount of water you want and press the button and the faucet measures out and dispenses the exact amount of water. Tested it many times with my trusty Pyrex measuring cup; consistent every time. Or set the knob to the On/Off icon for continuous flow with touch control. The pull-down spray head works great for when you need that extra flexibility. Love it. Also, the gooseneck height of the faucet is great for when you need to fill a big, tall pot of water. The faucet head swing is a full 180 degrees; easily moves to either side of the sink when you need to get it out of the way! ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: I wish the touch control feature dispenses water at a temperature OTHER than just cold. Perhaps a combination of measured or continuous flow AND a temperature adjustment according to the position of where the user turned the handle. I noticed the faucet does introduce a slight decrease in water flow. I surmise that the path through the water measuring control unit, the flow is decreased. Perhaps your engineers can find a way to compensate for the flow reduction in the control unit or hose configuration or sizing. I wished the spray head switch was a toggle instead of a pressure switch. I actually prefer the spray to be on all the time versus the stream. I'm weird like that. OVERALL: A beautiful faucet with a unique water measuring/dispensing feature. TLDR: beautiful faucet, if installing in a three hole sink, be sure to order the correct escutcheon plate per the manual. When initially plugging in battery pack, if blue sensor light does not turn off after a few seconds, reduce other sources of light that may interfere with initial sensor calibration. American Standard / Lixil customer service is your friend.

Attractive quality faucet that has a great tweak..... I like the touch feature, but I normally would think the touch should be any where on the faucet, not just on the one side dial, so that is a bit of a negative. I don't think the auto set feature for the amount of water being such an important feature, because most of us have measuring cups, AND most of us use filtered water (if we can afford to pay this much for a faucet, we most likely don't drink tap water) so since I don't use tap water in my recipes, I don't find the measure feature important. Over all a nice faucet.... show stopper..... glad to have it!

This is an interesting new design for a kitchen faucet. You can adjust the dial to get an exact amount of water measured out. You also just have to touch the dial to turn the faucet on and off. Another nice feature is that if you use the touch feature to turn it on and accidentally leave it on, it will turn off after 5 minutes. I love to see new innovative products but I'm a little concerned that this is a little more complicated than I'm used to.

Was really surprised when I opened the box lots of parts but after you see where all the hoses connect and get the control box mounted is not to bad to install other than working under the sink for a couple three hours removing old faucet then installing all the parts and making sure you connect them in the correct place, I don't like changing batteries so order the power adapter so I don't have to mess with that (make sure you have some place to plug in before you order) I had spare but am electrician and could add if needed. But once you get all in is a great faucet and the auto measure fill is great and way faster than using a measuring cup.

Beale MeasureFill Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Chrome By American Standard. Innovated concept for touch activation and measurement standard. We tested installed unit for accuracy and found it spot on. Nice chrome finish and pull down head with switch activated spray stream options. The touch activation side also measurement side will only dispense cold water you have to use manual lever to adjust for hot warm cold stream. DIY note you can not tighten up faucet to deck with out pulling threaded mount from upper housing. Had to disassemble and manually push thread body back into upper housing to assemble and then still can’t completely tighten faucet to deck. Design flaw. Hanging control box by screws is not easy but found that the two strips of adhesive tape will hold the box in place fine. Included supply lines are poly and kink easily. Be very careful on placement of control box. This unit comes complete with no parts to buy but quality of the parts and body construction could be better. Overall this unit does what it says it will do and is well marked for installation placement.

Wow, I did not expect this. The box arrived and I pulled out the faucet in front of family members. They all wanted me to give them this faucet. It is a quality faucet and it is obvious from opening the box.It does not come with a plate if your sink has more than one hole. You can order one by searching 'American Standard' 9431888.075 which is the part number. It is not expensive but I would have figured, based on the cost of the faucet, it should have come with it. It took a few days for the part to arrive and after two trips to the hardware store to replace a leaky shut off valve and a drain issue (we had to remove part of the drain in order to work on it better), we finally got it installed. I forgot to show the final installation pictures but they were too dark to see. The faucet is awesome. Touchless, and this one has a dial to select the amount of water you want to come out if you are cooking. My wife loves this faucet! It came with 4 double AA batteries. I am not certain how long they will last, just be certain to have a spare. You set the water temp with the handle, like any other faucet, then after that, waive your hand in front of it once to start and once to stop the water. My grand babies get a kick out if it. I call it magic. Much better than the faucet I removed.

This American Standard Beale MeasureFill Touch Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless Steel is definitely one gorgeous centerpiece for my soon to be upgraded kitchen sink. Well constructed, contemporary, sleek and designed to beat the ordinary cookie cutter high end faucets currently out in the market. Practicality at it's core but with technology integrated, it's quite advanced for this level of price range. Has heft to it so it's not made of cheap material plus, per instructions, it's a super easy install. Can't wait to remove the old kitchen faucet on a property we are currently re-modeling and install this handsome pull-down sprayer.

In 2018 manufacturers bring new faucets to the home and among those sold in the market is American Standard’s Beale MeasureFill kitchen faucet. This is a very high end well-made single hole features rich faucet which is not only a water saving fixture but uses ceramic disc valving which insures years and years of trouble free longevity. The faucet is backed by American Standard so you know there will be parts availability and support for the life of the fixture. This is a 1-1/2 gallon per minute low flow kitchen faucet which took me less than 30 minutes to install. It took me longer to dress up all the undersink hoses than to complete the actual installation. I do wish however this faucet kit came with the hardware required to eliminate the battery option as I find batteries tend to leak thereby ruining the battery contacts eventually. This is a minor nit on my part so long as the wife is happy. The finish on this faucet is superb requiring only a damp wipe of a moist clothe to clean. Be sure and keep all your paperwork and parts listing as you will need them many years from now when wear items eventually need replacing … I keep my paperwork in a plastic bag scotch-taped underneath the sink where the fixture is installed!

We are very happy with this facuet and installtion was easy. To be honest I was a little leary of installing a faucet with electronics in the mix. I'm not intimidated by electronics but I'm a big fan of simplicity in many things. But after reading some reviews and looking around and comparing features I decided to give this a go. After all it has a manual mode too. And seeing that it worked off batteries which last a year meant installation did not involve pulling wire and installing a new outlet box under the sink or in an adjacent cabinet. Getting my old facuet out was as much work as installing this new one. I installed the facuet and got it bolted down before attempting to locate the control box because in my case the length of the lines dictated control box placement to a large degree. Bolting it down was easier than my old one due to the split brass nut and the wide plastic spacer/washer it used. That combination of things meant threading the nut on was easier and you do not have to tighten it down across 2 or 3 inches of threads (which on my old faucet you did have to do because it lacked the thick spacer and the brass nut was not split.) So those 2 simple things meant less time and aggravation under the sink. It's good to see some thought went into the design to facilitate making installtion easier. Installtion probably took less than an hour. There was one trivial error in the installtion instructions but it caused me no issues. Step 3a mentions some "CABLE MOUNTS (5)". Well there are no cable mounts in the box nor does the illustration have a #5. No matter. I had some adhesive cable tie mounts and small cable ties on hand and I used those to neaten up the wiring under the sink to avoid loose wires hanging (see pics). While not essential I like to keep my wiring neat. A bit of advice if you do this. Do NOT overtighten the cable ties. Leave them a little loose so you have some slack – enough that the cable can be moved without a struggle. I see so many electronics with cable ties on wire pulled super tight. It's not good for the wiring or for you if you later need to remove them. Keep it loose. One other very minor issue I had with the instructions is this. There is no mention of which way the handle adjusts for manual control of hot or cold. (forward/backward and the electronic operation only dispenses cold) I know this is a nit picking thing. But I had an issue with my hot flow at first and the best I could get was barely tepid. I wondered if I my lines could be backward so to double check I took the hot loose and put on a temp line and ran a bucket of water to verify I had it right. I did. When I did that I also flushed out a little crud. After I reassembled all was better. The hot water line has a very small entry hole on the fitting so it takes very little to clog it. That was evidently what happened to me. That was a pretty minor issue and it only took a few minutes to work out. One can deduce easily enough that the electronic box only dispenses cold because the hot goes direct to the faucet and only the cold goes through the control box. Still, one line in the instructions affirming the hot/cold controls might be nice. (backward/away from you is hot). The wiring provides enough length that the battery box can be located just inside the cabinet making battery change easy. The battery box opens easily due to some well designed clips and batteries go in and out easy so battery changes will never be much of a chore. I could decide later to put in an A/C adapter but if the batteries last even half as long as they say I don't see the point. The illustration shows an adapter (P/N M950338-0070A) but that is evidently not included. That adapter sells for around $40 to $58 and is easy to find. We tested the touch measuring and it is accurate right out of the box. Time will tell how useful but my wife is already singing it praises after one day of use. The spray head is smooth and I like the design of the head. My old one used some small protruding rubber nozzles and after a while they simply could not be cleaned to a point where they would spray stright (and I tried everything including an overnight soak in vinegar). So after washing dishes water would be all over you and not just the dishes. No more with this one. This nozzle looks like it might be easier to maintain and hold up better. Time will tell. For retraction of the head my old faucet had a weight on the line and a magnet in the head while this just has a weight albeit a MUCH heavier one. This seems to work better than the smaller weight and magnet at seating the head on retraction.

    Touch sensor does not work!
The touch sensor does not work well. It does not respond to an actual bare finger touch. We be to cover our finger with a paper towel or napkin to get it to activate. Very frustrating given how expensive it is.

      Leaking badly after 4 years
This was fine for 4 years then it developed several leaks in the hose just above the spray head. So when you pull it out now you get a shower. I'm about to replace it with a different brand. I feel it should last more than 4 years. That='s more than $100 per year. Not good. I don't have much in terms of water pressure (how I wish I did) so it is definitely not down to high pressure. Far from it. It just has to be poor materials. Pretty much every faucet I had had has lasted longer. So I would not call this a dud in terms of longevity. If you want something that last these days allI can say is good luck. Paying a lot does not mean you will get decent quality materials.

This faucet on High has low pressure. Takes a longer time for our water to heat up due to the slow flow out of this faucet. We plan to buy a new one even though this one costed more.

              The features are remarkable
I bought my faucet about six months ago and faucet had a unique attachment to the sink. The bottom nut was u shaped with three screws to lock the nut in place. The threaded pipe above the sink screwed into the base of the faucet, but the base is not a solid circle. The pipe dope springs the pipe so that it eventually pulls out. I believe that omitting the pipe dope will make a more solid connection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened the box I was initially skeptical about my ability to install it without calling a plumber as it looked more complicated than the average faucet due to all the hoses and wires. However, the instructions are clear and everything is labelled to make sure you don't mix anything up. The electronic water control module fits neatly under the sink and the separate battery compartment is easy to access at a future date. The use of 4 AA batteries also means no need to call an electrician. The long faucet neck gives you plenty of room to work in your sink and allows you to fill up pitchers with ease. It also swings 180 degrees allowing me to aim anywhere in the sink before even needing to pull out the retractable hose head. The handle has a solid, precise feel to it with no slack like cheaper faucet handles, allowing you to achieve changes in water flow and temperature with minimal effort. The handle is also comfortable to grab yet compact so it's not in the way. The Measurefill feature has a sturdy dial that glides easily, with a subtle click at each measurement so there's no guessing when you adjust the desired volume. Turning on the Measurefill requires no force, a simple touch will do; handy if you are working with ingredients that you don't want to get everywhere. The measurements are labeled in ounces and cups and the button lights up blue when it turns on, adding to the high-tech impression the whole faucet exudes.

Love the pull down mechanism and the ball joint!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the Beale measure fill pull down kitchen faucet... I like the pull down faucet part esp the rotation Mechanism...the touch start/stop feature is great esp when hands are dirty... the measure fill is a nice Feature when you need it... It’s a little confusing when trying to get hot water and you have to manually use the other handle... The measure dial needs to be lit better or the markings colored so it’s easier to see... The anchoring system for the junction box is a little week... More options for color needed... Overall very happy with it....

                        Awesome Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opening the package.. .to start this was stunning. Well packaged to ensure the parts were secure not to mention the look of how it was displayed in the box. We finally installed this product a month ago and the entire family LOVES it! The handle moves nice and smoothly with excellent water flow. The sprayer is strong and with the design of the weight it retracts back into place easily. The faucet is sturdy and well made. The touch feature and ability to select the exact amount of water is dispensed is the absolute BEST.
