Got it a few days ago and was finally able to install it today. First off, it was very easy to install just make sure you look at the instructions. It comes with an adapter for the water line to the fixture. Its optional to use. You can have the main head and hand held on at the same time. You can adjust height of the handheld on the bar itself. Everything looks great and the water feels better than my last head for sure. Definitely, definitely worth getting. My wife loved it

I put this shower kit in my master bathroom shower. The things I love 1. The hose for the handheld wand is metal (very rare these days), most are plastic. Metal is much sturdier than plastic plus it gives some weight to it which makes it hang nicely vs plastic that tends to tangle and awkwardly twist upwards. Second, the size of the rain shower head is great...very large. 3. The bronze is a nice color bronze that blends well with other bronze products nearby from other well known manufacturers. 4. This one needs an asterisk*** I like the water pressure after removing THREE water flow restrictors and one filter screen (Prior to removal, I could not use the rain shower head and wand at the same time, as the pressure was pathetic). Even using them separately was not that great prior to removal. They are super easy to remove-they are spring loaded and pop out with no trouble at all. 5. I like the many spray options that the wand offers. 6. I like that you can use each independently (in which they each work better when used alone) or both together. I love that the rain shower head mounts very tall (husb is 6'4" and has plenty of room) and far away from the wall. It is really nice how you can easily adjust up and down the height of the wand's position. No tools needed to install, easy install. I chose to use the tape (which I was hesitant about) but did not want to put holes in my tile until I knew that I loved this product. Surprisingly, the tape works well so, I saved the screws for possible future use, if needed. Seems very sturdy of a mount, but time will tell if the tape gives out. Overall, It is a very nice quality product and has a high end look as well. My only suggestion (which I think is a must) is to remove the 3 water flow restrictors and filter to receive normal water pressure. I suppose you should test it with your water pressure and see, but I'm pretty sure you will agree. Don't give up on the product until you have removed all of these. I think you will be very happy with it after. I took away one star for needing to remove the restrictors as it needs to be noted for those that may not want to deal with this. One other item to note is that although I love the design that allows you to adjust the height of the wand mount as well as angle of wand, this mount and mechanism is made of plastic and not sure if constant adjusting and removing/remounting of wand over time will be a future source of cracking/snapping. Time will tell. I just feel like they used the metal to make wand hose, would be nice to have that mechanism made of metal as well. I guess that would make it heavier which may compromise the tape mount method. Anyway, just my observations. Overall I do recommend and actually look forward to showering with it. More of a spa-like experience.

Easy to install, good product and looks great in our bathroom

Have had this system in use for about 6 months and the diverter valve will not function and is stuck in one mode. Now I need to replace the valve and hope it's available. Can't even explain how bad this stinks.

Got an "upgrade" from American Standard all to have these diverter problems. Having to send out plumbers on our dime is not worth it. Do not get this shower.

Purchased back in Feb 2023....within a couple of weeks of usage the diverter started giving us problems. I purchased 2 replacement diverters and had a professional plumber install a new one. Not even 2 months later, we are experiencing the same issues with the diverter not working properly. Extremely frustrated because I was hesitant to spend the amount that was wanted for this particular shower head. It had all of the features we were looking for but are extremely disappointed that this issue has happened twice within 4 months of purchasing it.

Had this system for over 2 years, worked great at first, then experienced same problem with diverter valve as many others have! Fix from American Standard is send you another valve which lasts 6 months, I expect everyone of these fixtures has same problem, you pay plumber to replace same each time or try to do yourself which isn't easy! NO PERMANENT FIX IN SIGHT! Totally unacceptable for a fixture costing almost $500. A/S can't solve this problem or offer an acceptable replacement product?

The positive reviews on this product were probably written shortly after the unit was installed before the diverter failed. I'm hoping American Standard will offer a redesigned diverter replacement that actually works.

Failed within a year as everyone else has stated. No parts will work. What a piece of crapola. Buyer BEWARE big time.

After trying 3 less expensive, Chinese manufactured similar products that leaked, failed, couldn't be installed I bought American Standard as my last hope for a great shower to complete my new home. I wasn't let down by the "American Standard". It installed perfectly, easily and works flawlessly.

The diverter will fail within a year. I was sent a replacement diverter - also failed with a year. Overall, poorly designed and poor quality. Regretting this purchase.

The diverter is the weak link in this shower. I have replaced mine twice. It is plastic and cheaply made. For the cost of this unit, I'm shocked by the poor quality. I would not recommend this shower to anyone. The part is also a pain to replace.

Leaks everywhere. We weren't able to install it.

I bought it a year ago and the diverter has failed, now only does rain faucet

I purchased two and they were professionaly installed. Both diverters failed in 6-months. It is hard to get replacement parts. Google this....it is a common problem and you will have it as well. You have been warned.

I purchased two of these units when we were doing a remodel on both of our bathrooms. They were professionally installed by a competent plumber. Within six months. Both shower units have failed. They’re three-way push diverter valve on. Both of them is broken and we can’t change the water from one side to the other. For the amount of money we spent on the fact that both of them failed. This is very disappointing. I have been googling it, and it seems to be a very common problem. You’ve been warned.

The button to toggle between shower heads only works 50% of the time, and the water pressure is way too low. |

Bought this for a bathroom, diverter button broke after 2 months. Customer service was great in sending a new button within 2 weeks, but 2 months later the new button broke. Another button was sent and three months later that one is broken. Read the reviews, this is common! You’ve been warned!

I’m very pleased with the order. The rain shower head and the extra adjustments is great. I love and the size is perfect. Larger than I thought it would be.

Terrible water pressure

This shower package turned out to be an excellent fixture in our remodeled bath.

The diverter PN: M970678-0070A of this shower faucet system got stuck frequently and very difficult to pull it out. The first one got stuck in the above head position after 2 years, because we did not operate it. the second got stuck in 6 mths and we operated once a week. Also, it's very hard to remove and plastic stem broke when being pulled out. Is there a different design of diverter? Rotating design?

Great product, however the California water pressure requirement (1.8) limits the pleasure produced.

We had this installed be a general contractor and less than 9 months later it will not switch back and forth between handheld and shower spray. So disappointed.

Too expensive for what it is, although it’s really nice and works well. I’ve had it for about a month and no complaints so far. Installation was really easy and the overall quality seems good.

Great water flow and coverage. Hand held really pumps out water, love it!

Purchased it 6 months ago. First wasn't happy not able to get the handle flush against the wall plate. Sticks out 1/2". Second the push button diverter does not go just the hand held. I only get to select shower head or hand held w/shower head.

Love my system, but after you finish your shower, minutes later you hear water pouring out of the rain shower head. Does anyone else have the same problem? Can it be fixed or is this common and acceptable?
