Anderson door and Anderson Lock kit does not work with each other I had to grind a hole in the side of the frame for the lock to work

This is a quality door at a reasonable price. Easy to install and looks and works fantastic. I like the full view feature either with glass or screen. It is more effective that way. It is supplied with 2 closures top and bottom that have metal casings. The bottom closure has a button you tap with your foot to hold the door open and releases when the door is moved open again. The door has a lock with a key on the outside.

Very simple to install. I went for the etching on the glass and was very disappointed when the associate said I couldn’t have that one. My second option was this door.

It's a very sturdy and heavy door thus it requires more effort to swing open. I hope this translates to durability. Closing is much easier because it self-closes and doesn't slam shut. The installation process took a very long time. I really love the Curved Nickel glass design. I originally thought the nickel was going to clash with the warm tone of the house, but it's perfect. It pulls the silver from the sidelight panels and makes them pop. Overall I am pleased.

Door is a very nice well made storm door. My daughter decided she was going to paint the primary front door, which I had no say in the color and the 30 year old screen door wasn’t going to help the appearance of the new door. My 1950’s ranch house, needed to trim out some of the soffit to make the door fit, but this wasnt a problem with the door. After trimming the soffit, the door fit in nicely and looks great. I wish i did this project a long time ago

Easy installation, very durable, beautiful appearance. Love how easy it closes completely in its own and licks in place nicely if you need to leave it open.

While the Anderson 3000 door certainly looks nice there is a problem with two important parts. First the bottom corner of the door has an unfinished edge which is a safety hazard. Particularly because its a heavy door its a problem for children. I do not allow my child to open the door without me because the bottom of the door has caught her ankle (and mine) when closing. My installer tried to file down the sharp metal however its still enough to cut/scratch someone's foot or ankle. Secondly, I've had 3 different people try to adjust the closer, however the closing speed is too quick or starts out slow then closes quickly. We gave up and removed the bottom closer . In hindsight I should have attempted to returned the door for a different brand.

I installed this a few weeks ago and we love it!!! It looks great and was very easy to install.

This door is very good quality, easy to install and looks great. The only thing that wasn't so easy was opening the door after mounting it in the doorway. There are plastic spacers to keep the door closed in it's frame while doing the initial install, it took quite a bit of pushing from the inside to get it to pop open. Other than a few extra minutes spent scratching our heads and worrying that we would break the glass, it was a breeze.

Being a first time install with this type of door, and by myself, it was somewhat of a challenge, I think the next one could be done in 45 minutes, but I wanted to make sure it was correct. I did manage to get it that way, but it took longer, but I'm retired, 81 yrs old, and had the time. It really is a nice door, works well, looks really nice, made the house look a lot better. The main issue was getting the latch side where it should be, maybe a plastic strap installed at the bottom, would hold the sides the right distance apart, would be better than the 2 pc on that side of the frame, just a thought, but that was the problem I had. Other than that, a really nice door, I had the rounded etching added, and that really made it pop, I didn't want a screen, in fact I'm taking out all my screens, with AC, what good are they? This door was very easy to install. Anderson has come a long way with there door installation process. This type of door use to take a couple hours to install and you had to cut the jambs. It comes mostly pre assembled now and is extremely easy to install. Took me about 30 minutes. The door functions great and feels like very solid and high quality. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't open far enough, not even a full 90 degrees before the springs stop it. It might adjust out a little more but it's not really a big deal for us.

Cheap plastic retainer holds the large glass window and after a number of years the plastic splits and lets the window fall out if you are not paying attention . Called Anderson / Emco and was told these plastic retainers are not lifetime warrantee but they will sell you new plastic ones ,

Installation was simple, but my issue with the door is that the storm door nob latches but the door doesn't fully close. So the door isnt air tight. Makes the storm door pointless

Easy install, no issues. Great quality door, looks very nice, sustantial weight, hydraulic closers for top and bottom of door keeps firm control even in strong wind.

This was a bit more pricey than the standard size, but worth it. Great door.

So easy to install! This is th third Anderson storm door I installed by myself. I am a 57 year old grandmother and didn’t require any help.

I had never seen installed a storm door before. Buying an Anderson door with the EZ install option turned out to be a great way to go! I was able to install myself in about an hour. It turned out great, looks beautiful and makes a big difference in keeping the drafts out.

Purchased and self-installed this door a little over a year ago. Quality is good, except for the screw covers that are supposed to click in place. They lasted a few weeks before they came off. Another issue was with the door closer. The tension remained high even when we tried to adjust it, and the door only opened about halfway, which meant we had to open, then walk to the side to get out the door. There isn't enough room. Removed it and the door opens all the way. It was a BREEZE to install-took about a half an hour on our 150 year old hard-to-fit home. My biggest pet peeve is the reflective quality-I can see myself walking up to the door when I'm lugging groceries or exhausted after work. This is something I don't need to SEE! I would purchase again.

45 minutes my backside... Went well, but not fast. The trim that covers the screws on the sides of the door are a royal pain to install. They are supposed to snap in. The closure side did finally snap in place after much work. The hinge side never did snap into place at the bottom 6 inches. Have ordered replacement trim strip and will try again. Still, I gave this 4 stars because I like the fit and the sealing... AND the appearance. Looks good and functions great.

Had a issue with a manufacturing defect that was verifiable by the info in the installation guide and they refused to make it right. Had to talk with overseas phone center multiple times and several email sending all info they requested multiple times before I got to talk with someone at Anderson (I think). All he did was repeat the info in the email and refused to acknowledge the the information and diagram in their installation guide. When I asked to talk with his supervisor he refused. DO NOT buy from ENCO/Anderson they do not stand behind their product.

Love this storm door. The color is a perfect match to the house trim. I looked at other brands but the Anderson storm door was superior in quality and a great price.

We just completed residing our home and installed four new storms. This Andersen door is the "FRONT"door. We wanted something special to stand out. The 36 inch etched glass door was perfect. Easy to install, it fit perfect in the jam...I installed by myself in right at an hour. This door came set up as a left hand swing. I did not have to drill any holes for the handle or lock...I have lost track of how many doors I have hung/replaced over the years...this was by far the best and easiest to install. Looks great!
