Terrible
Coating is very easily scratched even with being careful, holes have to be drilled instead of self taping screws that come with competitors storms. Only one closer instead of 2! Paper template to drill holes for hand instead of something that clips on to door like competitors! I do not recommend!!!

The EMCO 400 Series Self-Storing Storm Door is designed with a bottom stationary window, a top sliding window with a retractable screen, single closer that you can install at the bottom. We also, have a Storm Door that is self taping screws. It is an Andersen 3000 Series Self-Storing Storm Door. The Anderson storm door with the retractable screen is great! The handle that you grip to pull down the the screen is a little difficult to open with longer finger nails.

Disappointed there was no chain to keep door from opening all the way
When having the screen exposed it doesn’t latch and creeps up on its own. Should be level with the storm so you don’t have multiple rods horizontally to look through

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize but we strongly discourage installing wind chains. It may be strong enough to pull the closers from the storm door panel or the door jamb. The wind chain could fail and result in damage to both. The best way to prevent wind damage is to make sure the door is latched completely after use. Moreover, please note that the insect screen may appear to have a very strong tension causing the ventilating window to drift all the way up and not stay in place. With continued use, the window will relax and stay in the desired position. - Charmaine
