Very easy to assemble, sturdy and looks great

If you are an amature this is not a job for you. Flat panels are not too challenging, but stair rails did me in. Cutting on an angle requires some skill and miter saw. Packaging and instructions could be much better.

Plastic base less than perfect

Support hardware and fastener design to assemble is poorly engineered. I had to fabricate my own brackets.

.. Followed the instructions per Aria website and several U-tube shorts. Bought the recommended tools/ ratcheting clamps, hi tooth metal blade, jig, t/up paint etc... Installed the complete deck railing in a long weekend with a buddy and several beers.. Not being a carpenter by any means, I felt this maintenance free railing was something that I could do in a short time... Looks Great and have we received several compliments..

this looks very nice and is easy to install, I'm upset because I can't find a solar light post cap that will fit this. the only ones I can find a over$50 each. yet I can find all the other sizes for alot cheaper like $20 for 2, but this size is no where to be found. I don't know why they would sale a 3 inch post if they aren't going to sale the 3 inch cap. doesn't make sense. before you buy find the cap you want to use for them. or just get a size 4x4, or 2.5 x 2.5, or even a 3.5x3.5 but don't get the 3x3 cause here are no solar light caps to go on them for a reasonable price

excellent quality, easy to install

Love the way the look and installing wasn't hard at all just make sure ur level. Time will tell how the paint holds up seems durable the wife is happy so that's what matters

The name is very misleading, Black Powder Coated Aluminum Deck Post Kit. While it is a post, comes in Black and is powdered coated, it is not a kit. It comes with no screws, bolts or the hardware to attach it to the deck itself. That would have been really good information to be included in the description of the product. After another trip back to Home Depot to get the screws I needed, the post was easy to install and looks amazing. Just wish I could have saved some time.

This is a high quality product with very good engineering in its development. The owner's manual technical data is very good and very complete. The only downside is the expense. However, this product once again confirms that you get what you pay for only if you are aware.
