We used this as under the counter lighting for a kitchen remodel. We needed 4000K to match new room lighting and installed this with the hard wire option. Excellent results!

The lights work good, however the cutting and splicing in the electrical connector s is bit of a challenge. Had to re-due the connection several time to get them operate properly , wish the connectors worked better.

The lights are great, however when cutting the string and installing the connections we had trouble making a solid connections and lights started blinking. Soldering the connection is more solid and recommended.

Lights stopped working after only 3 months of light usage.

I found I can’t cut at exact length. The only cutting points are the copper connections. Otherwise the last segment can’t be lit on.

The warm white color was perfect for our museum display case, as was the brightness and uniformity of illumination. We got a dimmable power supply, but ended up skipping the dimmer- was perfect as is. Used 2 rolls of this tape and the 45 degree aluminum housing, making 3.5 ft lighting sections. Worked great.

The connectors need to be better. They are not making proper contact on the led tape.

Installation was fairly simple but the performance of the lights is not good. I first ordered one of the recommend programable dimmers that is mentioned in the instructions but the lights flickered continuously regardless of the dimmer setting. I then switched the dimmer to a $55 Legrand programable dimmer and that works better when set to reverse phase. However the lights still flicker when anything brighter than about 40% of the dimming range. So in the end they work but the performance on the mid to high end brightness is still bad. I feel like the LED driver might be the issue after trying two different dimmers. Hard to say.

Installation easy, clip connectors work, Hard wire is straight forward. Bummer it doesnt have a built in dimmer

I would give it 5 stars, but I did not get the clips and extensions that were said to be included. I worked around it and its fine.

These lights are great. Pretty easy to install. Connectors are not quite as easy to use as videos show, but not too bad.

I’m an electrician and have used Armacost tape lighting many times, always ordering the same 12 volt system. This time I received a different product, the transformer is 24 volt and the tape seems to not be the quality it used to be. Not sure why there was a change and why it isn’t reflected in the description of the product.

These lights are just what I was looking for. They were easy to install and provide excellent lighting below my kitchen cabinets (above the counter top).

Easy install, with a dimmer it works nicely, with out defuser it showed bright spots on shiny counter top. My customer is happy.
