I got a project where I'm using full dimension rough cut hemlock 2x4's and wanted nails with a little more bite so opted for the 3.5 inch nails. Don't know why they're not carried in the store. That said, I've got the extra penetration I wanted. They're driving in well and without jamming. What more can you expect of a nail !
