Loved the product, seemed to work as it was supposed to and followed the directions to the letter, two weeks after it started to peel, very disappointed

Very heavy paint but I put a bucket of water on it and my painting is already starting to come off.so be careful.

The final result is excellent! We had to do it twice though. Make sure you don't get ANY of the non-skid paint on any other part of the tub. We used the same roller for the non-skid area as the rest of the tub. You must use the other roller provided for the rest of the tub and don't get any of the non-skid paint anywhere else. The second time we did it, we skipped the non-skid area all together and it's much better. Diane at Munro (Bathworks) was amazing in helping us fix this, and Home Depot sends your details to Bathworks, so they could immediately look up what I'd bought and help me out. The end result is absolutely beautiful. Do good prep and taping and the painting is easy. I used a hand sander for most of it. I also bought a respirator for $30 at Home Depot -- well worth it, because it stinks and protects your lungs when sanding. Best part is that Bathworks stands behinds its products, its customer support department is AWESOME!! Would definitely recommend before spending tons of money having people come in to do it or replacing the tub.

This is an incredible product. It made what seemed at first like a very daunting job to be very easy. I refinished an antique galvanized steel tub and it is beautiful. Best of all, the company's support is exceptional.

Worked very well, my old cast iron tub looks new! I was finally able to take a shower in it for the first time. The only con is a slight lingering chemical smell three weeks after installation which is why it gets 4 instead of 5 stars.

I purchased this product to refinish 2 badly worn composite bath tubs in our Condo. The finish was completely worn off the tubs. I read the reviews and figured it could not make them any worse. To my surprise the bath tubs cam out even better than I ever expected. You need to follow the directions carefully. guys that means read them. Don't wing it. You also need to have some type of good quality respirator, which I already had, and plenty of ventilation. When you apply this product, keep the close closed and the window(s) open with a fan blowing out. You will regret not doing this. I also put a towel under the door to block any fumes from entering the rest of the house. I left it overnight and the results were incredible. Prep was not that hard to do and the results showed. Pay a lot of attention to scraping the surface of the tub area with a single edge razor blade and change it often. You will be amazed what comes off the tub in this step no matter how many times you scrub the tub with comet or another cleanser. I would not hesitate to use this product again. The finished product looks like I had the tubs professionally sprayed. It is hard to tell in the photos but trust me these are like new tubs

Excellent product. I have used it twice with outstanding results. I was meticulous about the prep steps, though. I would also recommend having a backup foam roller for wall and tub jobs. The one included in the kit begins to wear.

Product covered beautifully and was relatively easy to use once I opened the kit. It might be worthwhile to note that I spent four days in advance prepping the tub. I scraped down and sanded every inch of the tub before even opening the kit. I couldn't be happier with the final result. Product does smell very strong, as noted in the literature. I would recommend doing this on a warm day so you can leave windows open.

This product was pretty easy to use, just follow the directions to the T. I prepped the Tub one day prior to application to ensure that the tub was nice and dry. It took about 1.5-2 hrs to paint the entire tub with 2 coats. I let the tub dry for about 2 days before using it to make sure it set properly. I am very happy SO FAR with the results, just hope it holds up for the amount of years they say it should!

Was absolutely amazed at how great it worked. Had a 17 year tub/surround that was not in the best of shape and not very attractive. After using the Bathworks, it looks brand new!!! I have told everyone and posted pics of the finished product. Plan on ordering more to use in the master bathroom!!

I was very apprehensive to try and refinish the bathtub myself, but figured it was work a try. The worst that could happen is that I would need to hire pros, who would remove what I did anyway. As it turns out, the product was very easy to use and overall - I am very happy with the results. The only reason I did not give the fifth star was because I discovered that the one 4 inch foam rolling applicator that came with the kit was not. The adhesiveness property of the paint is so good that the foam on the roller started to shred off, leaving little flecks embedded in the painted surface. The it got progressively worse as the paint became more solidified. I would recommend that you buy a few extra 4 inch foam rolling applicators to use as the first roller starts to disintegrate. I think HD sold 2-packs for $3 and change.

well, after two days of sitting the paint peeled off...so i have to redo...thanks for checking in.

The roller fell apart half way into application. Had to keep picking up pieces left behind during application. Really cheap rollers but product overall was great. Could send better rollers.

After using Bathworks refinishing kit my tub looks brand new! What an amazing difference from the condition it was in. Not only did it come out beautiful, I was able to use it in just 1 day.

I have used other tub kits, but this is my Go To for my rental business tub re-coatings. Excellent results and everything needed comes in this complete kit!

Has a strong odor that stays for about a week. Needs a better primer, the top ledge of the tub peeled off

This product was awful. We prepped for hours and cleaned thoroughly, did the application exactly how the instructions stated and it started to bubble and flake off the day after. Waste of money

Great product. Rolls on very easily. Has a strong smell put went away the next day.

The smell is horrible! 48 hours later and there is still a lingering smell! This is my 2nd kit! 1st kit used and it did peel after 4 months.

The information I received when ordering said 3-6 days. It has now been 11days with no information other than in transit. This is not helpful when you need a product to complete a job. I am not happy with the excuses or lack of answers .

Process went as instructed. time will tell about the durability.
