Thank you for your review and picture of your project. I'm sorry to hear the stain you applied a year ago is peeling. That is not typical and certainly not the experience we want for our customers. To fix the peeling, we recommend removing any loose coating and cleaning the surface with our All-In-One Wood Cleaner to promote adhesion. Once dry, touch up the bare areas and apply a thin coat if needed for uniformity. If the peeling is widespread, it's best to remove the stain before cleaning the bare wood. Once dry, apply two coats following the recommended spread rate to avoid an over/under application, which can impact the performance. Your customer satisfaction is important to us.
