I opened this next to a can of Jet White Satin. I immediately wondered why it was so runny compared to the Satin but I haven't used Semi-Gloss very often. I was scared off the Semi Gloss because of negative opinions, from online articles to paint sellers, about using it on the outside of a house here. The wood trim absorbed this quickly. I don't see a high gloss. I would'nt use it on stucco, I like a thicker coverage. It looks easier to clean, I like the slight sheen. I recommend it for wood trim outside and patio wood panels. Also, it's nice on the metal window trim.

This paint has very poor coverage for the price. Over clean new wood it took 3 coats to achieve uniform color. We are very experienced painters and have used all types of paint and we found this paint to be the least desirable of anything that we have used previously. Don't know how it applies with rollers but it brushes poorly.

Completely met my needs. Color match and application was percent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product in general covers in one coat however it depends on the color of paint/surface you're trying to paint over. Depending on situation, this oroduct is over priced.

We bought this in an Amherst Gray for our exterior. It is not one-coat as advertised. We had to use two coats to get adequate coverage. Wish I had bought a cheaper primer for the first coat. It also does have a smell, it should be applied outside or in well-ventilated area.

I think this Behr Marquee is the highest quality paint there is on the market. It’s very thick, goes on smoothly and is very durable. I’ve used more expensive paints and found they are not as durable as Behr.

Applies smoothly and covers well. Worth the extra cost when you are going for single coat application. Only time will tell it's durability but I don't anticipate any problems. The most important part of any painting project is surface preparation.

Worked really well. Clean up took some time but I like the product.

Not happy with coverage and door sticks to weatherstripping Directions say paint has to cure and can take up to a year to do that. Not happy!!!

Good paint and Home Depot is great at color matching

Because of advice and reviews, I used this on my beloved wooden balcony railing. It was already painted, but I didn’t know what kind of paint, and the paint was peeling and not looking good. I know it’s disastrous to put oil based over water-based or water-based over oil-based paint, but I didn’t know what was on there so I just lept into the uncertainty and used Behr water-based exterior semigloss. I always prep my painting, gluing, re-grouting, etc., by cleaning with 70% rubbing alcohol. I’ve had good luck and I had good luck this time. The Behr went on easily and beautifully. It smoothed right in to where the old paint had failed. It dried quickly. It didn’t change when there was rain a day or so later. And it cleaned up from my hands and my brush and the couple of places I'd dripped it really beautifully. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I love this paint. It makes be me want to have more painting projects.
