That's not the paint that I bought I did buy the behr marquee, but I bought the color N420-5 Boreal. I also bought prior to that, Behr Marquee M06-18 Recycled Glass in Semi Gloss. Both colors were excellent and met my expectations.

Mine turned out more purple!
I bought this paint to use in my kitchen. I primed using a white primer. I even used several coats hoping it would eventually change color. But it’s more of a purple. I don’t hate it. But not for my kitchen. I won’t be buying the replacement from this company. As a 56 year old man that has painted many things throughout his life, this is the first time a color has been off like this. Again, I don’t hate the color. But I wasted my money, and will have to choose another brand.

This paint should cover in one coat when tinted to a one-coat colors and applied over a previously painted surface. However, for uncoated surfaces or colors outside this collection, including Ultra Pure White, more than one coat may be needed for the best coverage. This is my favorite go-to paint. Coverage is great on smooth surfaces when using a good brush & roller. This is the only paint I use on the interior. I have used this paint in 3 different houses, 2 homes older than 50 years, 1 new that has only been sprayed with primer/sealer/paint. I like the coverage on all, and, of course, so many color choices. Who knew there was so many shades of gray?!

LOVE THIS COLOR!
This color appears gray but has a blue undertone. In day light is when the blue undertone can be seen and it looks really good. So good, we continued the same color to our kitchen! A great color for any space in your home.

Disappointed Behr customer
Extremely disappointed in this product, especially since I previously had a great result in my kitchen earlier this year. This time around not only did I paint my previously WHITE walls with 2 coats of white paint using 3/8" nap and cut with a brush, but I also primed them with white primer as well. The visible streaks are disappointing to say the least. I had high hopes but unfortunately won't be buying Behr anytime soon.

That is not typical, and I can understand your disappointment. Our Marquee Paint should cover in one coat when tinted to a One-Coat Color and applied over a previously coated surface. To fix the streaks, I recommend letting the paint dry for 24 hours so it can even out and allow you to decide whether another coat is necessary. If needed, with the number of coats you have applied, recoating the surface will provide the proper uniformity. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want to help turn this around. Does Not Cover
This paint says it covers in one coat, not hardly! I bought eggshell white, and it is almost transparent, like they didn't put the tint in. It has the look of nonfat milk, when you clean the brushes it's clear not white. Here's a picture of a piece of trim I painted THREE TIMES! In any case it's going to be returned today!!

Definitely NOT one-coat coverage
I recently painted my powder room with Behr Marquee. I used a 3/8" nap roller as recommended.
I noticed the paint was extremely thick, like melted ice cream. But I cross-rolled repeatedly, and it seemed to cover fine.
Once dry, I noticed little light-colored pinpricks. The Behr paint had failed to cover in one coat!
Now I need to paint all over again! How do I obtain a refund for the first gallon plus get another gallon for free since I did not get the one-coat I was guaranteed?

Hi Jose, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the paint came off easily after it had dried. Keep in mind that it can take up to 30 days for the paint to cure and completely harden fully. I'd recommend removing any of the loose paint by scraping or sanding with 180-grit sandpaper, cleaning the surface, and then touching the area up with more paint. Hard to work with
I bought this with the satin finish for painting a small room. The first coat did not apply evenly over my Zinsser primer so I had to spend another $50 to buy a second gallon. This stuff has to go on just right- too thick and it will leave rollers lines or drip, too thin and it leave behind a rough texture. It also dries really fast so don’t go back over anything more than 5 minutes old or you will get the rough texture again. I’ve never had these problems with other Behr paint.

Not one coat coverage
My project was all new drywall with texture. After one coat, the paint showed all the roller marks. I had to buy double the paint and do a second coat to get it to look better. When I cut in the edges and corners, it looked worse. That part has no sheen and you can see everywhere I painted over the older paint. When I was cutting in, I went around and touched up any dings that I could find, and now they too stand out like crazy. This paint was about $50 per gallon, and I have about $1000 invested. Not happy at all.
