I recommend sanding the loose coating off, cleaning the surface, and touching up. The paint takes 30 days to cure and fully harden. Hello FakeNameRealReview, thank you for your review. I’m so sorry the paint was sticking to everything even after a few weeks. If any paint is loose or peeling up, I recommend sanding the loose paint off, wiping the sanding dust, then touching up and recoating with the paint. Also, I recommend allowing the paint to fully cure for 4 weeks before placing items on the shelves, as the coating may be sensitive until it’s fully cured. Hello Robin, thank you for your review. I’m so sorry the paint needed so many coats to cover the light color and was thick and streaky. If you’re still having coverage issue or streaks, I recommend allowing the last coat of paint to dry 24 hours before deciding if another coat is needed. Also, I recommend stirring the paint for 5 minutes to see if it goes back to a creamy consistency. If not, it’s best to use a new container to recoat. Hi kspin - Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that this color didn't turn out as expected! Colors online may vary from the color you ultimately paint on your project, so it's best to check out the paper swatch or purchase an 8 oz. sample for the most accurate representation of the color. I also recommend checking to see if the color was mixed correctly by comparing the paper swatch to the dried paint dab on the lid of your paint can. If they match, the color is correct, and we recommend recoating with a new color. If they don't match up, the color may have been mixed incorrectly, and we recommend recoating with the correct color. Hi dave - Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the coverage is lacking and the consistency seems watery! Our Premium Plus paint line should have a creamy consistency once it's been stirred for a few minutes before use. This product will also cover in 1-2 coats or 2-3 for dramatic color change or when applied to porous surfaces. If stirring the paint doesn't correct the consistency, I recommend applying an additional coat with a new can to ensure a uniform finish. To verify that your color was mixed correctly, we’d suggest checking that the physical color swatch matches the paint dab on your cans lid. If the colors match, the paint was properly mixed, and the color is correct. In cases like this, the best solution would be to recoat in a different color. If the swatch doesn’t match the dab on your can’s lid, the color was incorrectly mixed, and we’d suggest recoating with new paint tinted to the correct color. Please keep in mind that different lighting will affect how a color looks and that our online color palette display may vary slightly from the actual colors due to variances in monitor settings. To fix, I recommend touching up these areas again and allowing the paint some extra dry time as more dry time will allow the finish to correct itself. This product should have a very low odor and will typically cover in 1-2 coats or 2-3 for more dramatic color changes. To fix the finish, I recommend allowing your first coat dry for at least 2 hours before applying an additional coat for full coverage. If the paint continues to pull off the surface, I also recommend adding up to 4 ounces of water per gallon to prevent the paint from drying too quickly and continuing to peel off.
