Easy to apply, limited drip and great coverage. Painted my entire house and color was very consistent from one gallon to the next.

I’m disappointed the new paint can is made of plastic. The lid and the pour gadget is plastic. We are supposed to be avoiding the use of plastic. How do the chemicals in plastic affect paint? How are these new plastic paint cans going to be reused or properly recycled? If we can paint a wall, we don’t need a pour gadget for “convenience.” It’s not convenient, it’s a waste of energy and resources. We’d already have a paint brush in our hands, because we’re painting. The actions of today will affect our future and generations to come.

Excellent coverage with one coat. A bit pricey when not on sale but with paint you get what you pay for.

We had a professional painter paint our dining room wall with Behr Premium Plus Ultra in Matte finish. While he was painting it smelled like new paint but a couple of days later it smelled like a wet dog. It only got worse over the next few days even after my wife ran two fans on the wall and kept the windows open. We mentioned it to Home Depot where we purchased the paint and they had never heard of this. They suggested we work with Behr on this issue. John at Behr suggested that the issue may be related to several other factors unrelated to the paint. He also suggested that we cover it with Kilz primer to get rid of the smell. He did offer to cover the cost of the paint and primer which is the only reason I gave a 2-star rating instead of 1-star. We asked for reimbursement for the cost of the paint and he said that it's their policy not to cover labor costs. The did ask for a sample of the paint to test it for bacteria which we provided. Of course they reported that the test didn't show any problems and they didn't notice any smells after they painted a small swatch. They should have painted an entire wall in their own home and reported back after a week ;) Nevertheless, we put 2 coats of Kilz primer over the wall which removed the dog smell and then purchased another gallon of Behr paint from another Home Depot. We thought that maybe our local store had a bad batch. Speaking of which the both gallons were Batch #1753. On a side note, a year or so earlier we had painted another room in the house with the same Behr paint but that was batch #1473 and it didn't smell. After painting the second round of Behr paint the exact same thing happened as before: smelled fine when wet then a couple of days/weeks later it smelled like wet dog or ammonia. Two months later the smell has lessen but it's not gone.

Excellent product for long lasting abd minor maintenance

Applied one coat of this paint in December, when the temps were between 35 and 40 degrees, then went below 35 degrees within 4hrs and the paint held with great coverage! Would highly recommend!

I decided on this paint to use on the exterior of my home. I have aluminum siding, I did all the prep work, cleaning and power washing with TSP. I also used a Wagner Flexio 3000 sprayer to apply the paint. I had it set on the highest spray strength and width. If you put in the time and prep work this paint is amazing. It has transformed my home. Everyone is looking for the fast lazy way to do things, prep the surface, have patience and do the job right and it will yield amazing results. I work on cars and like I always say, there's no tune up or mechanic in a can, same with paint, it's only as good as the person applying it. I would use this paint again! I've always had great luck with Behr products.

This paint was perfect for covering our very old wood privacy fence. We used our airless sprayer and it went on nice and even. We will be purchasing BEHR paint products in future because of our experience with this product!

I used this paint to repaint the 10 year old stucco surface of my mid-Florida home. 10 gallons covered the 2400 square feet of surface with only a little left over. I used a 3" brush to cut in the edges around windows, doors, and soffit and then an 18" roller with 3/4" nap for the rest. The paint applied easily with very little dripping and covered the rough stucco surface well. While the brush work goes slow, the rolling portion was very fast and easy. A single coat was sufficient given that the original paint was in good, but faded, condition and a similar color. Clean-up was easy with water. It took me about 2 weeks to complete the house, allowing for rainy days. During that time, the brush and roller were simply wrapped in plastic and stored in the fridge between uses although I did wash out the brush a few times whenever the drying paint built up too much. I had selected this paint based on a Consumer Reports' review and I'm extremely pleased with that choice. Great coverage, easy to apply, easy to clean-up, and a beautiful look.

I've been using BEHR Premium Plus Ultra paint for many, many yrs. It has never failed and goes on like melted butter.

Very good paint. I did a first coat with regular primer of roughly the same color and probably didn't need to. The painter I hired even raved about it. Only downer is that they offered a significant rebate 3 days after I bought it!

This paint has an easy flow with its pull. And It covers very well .

I had a good friend recommend it and the product surpassed my expectations. The coverage was excellent and it saved me time and money as I didn’t have to put a second coat. I will be using this product for all my future painting projects and recommending it forward!

This is the 3rd 5 gallon bucket. The first 2 were absolutely great. Stirred them and painted without problems. I didn't stir this one as well because it hadn't been sitting as long as the others. Maybe I should have. Had problems with it clogging the tip for a little while at the beginning of using this bucket. It finally stopped clogging the tip and sprayed like the other 2 buckets. Covers well with one coat which cuts down on the time and work painting.

Always pleased with this brand of paint. It goes on smooth & covers well.

I used this to paint the clapboard on my 1890's rowhouse. It covered the dark brown painted/stained, which was badly weathered in some spots, easily in 2 coats without needing a primer. Using a mini-roller for semi-smooth to rough surfaces it went on evenly, covered well even after one coat, and handled the rough weathered grain. I selected "Cloud Cover", a soft white with creamy-gray tones, which really makes the place bright and clean after the dark brown.

This is Terriffic paint. It truly is a one coat paint that goes on well with a brush or roller. We are painting the exterior of our house. This paint works well with my Wagner sprayer. I didn’t have to do anything special to use it. It is recommend to use it in a temp range of 50-90 degrees. Personally I have found it’s better to paint on the shady sides of the house as the day progresses. It looks great.

Easy application, good coverage, easy cleanup. It made an old deck look new.

It was as recommended by my rep. Worked as expected. Can't ask for anything more. Just follow instructions to the T! I'm a handyman and seeing good results gives me confidence in what I do.

It did not match the color of my house not even close , will take it back to see if I can get a better match

So I got this paint but for the interior. The color is amazing. So vibrant and full. My only disappointment with this is that now after using the Marquee style paint, this paint requires two coats to hide all the white. the paint is easy to clean up and the primer definitely helps. Good product will use again. Love this color have it in other parts of my home as well!!!
