Customer Reviews for BESSEY Clutch Clamp Set (4-Piece)

Castings are smaller and many clamp castings are warped rendering them useless for real applications. I buy these regularly for the university shop that I manage and the ones I bought this morning look cheap in comparison to the ones I bought last year. I'll have to return several of them because they are crooked. In the picture I attached, you'll see a clamp I purchased today on the left next to the same size clamp I purchased last year. There's obviously some cost cutting going on.

Having gotten into woodworking recently I wanted to purchase some good quality F Clamps and from my understanding Bessey is a premium, German made product. In fact, they invented the F Clamp! Which was a surprise to me when I finally got my product and examined it... The jaw's of several clamps were torqued and not straight. I understand the bevel on the handle portion of the jaw makes up for this defect, but with the prestige or being a premium brand name, this was disappointing. I hope Bessey can rectify this and have a little more quality control before shipping products out for consumers.

I have other Bessey style clamps that are bigger and have rubber handles. I was disappointed to see these were smaller and had wooden handles. These are the same size as harbor freights but I think these are better quality metal.

You will not find a better clamp for the money. These are all metal, none of that plastic junk. With the 6" clamps selling for over $10 each and the 12" ones closer to $12 you'd be absolutely foolish not to buy this package deal where you are getting them for a little over $5 each! I bought 4 packs and will probably buy more next time I am in the store. You can NEVER have too many clamps.

Easy to use. It clamps very securly with outght damaging soft woods.

These clamps are just excellant for the money. I must have 25- 6" and 8- 12". A good plan is to buy a set of four each time you go to Home Depot. In no time you will have established a fine collection with very little financial pain.

These are very strong and I use them to hold parts of projects together while the glue dries. They come in very handy and I use them very often. They are easily adjusted to fit and easy to tighten with one hand. I have several different sizes for different size projects but these two sizes are the ones I use the most. Bessey make a good quality product.

Great clamps at a good price point

I always liked this type of clamp! And so do my nieghtbors, so's I got me several sizes. They are quick, and easy and totally alot of fun.

I got these for DIY cabinet installation project and they served the project well. I am little skeptical about the longevity of the clamp head so going with 4 stars. Very affordable compared to other available options.

Doesn’t fit husky portable work table as I was lead to believe. Which is why I bought them….
