My old B and D lasted more than 30 years. This new one is slightly heavier, but not by much, and an inch longer. It cuts a wonderfully straight line.

This hedge trimmer is light weight. At 69 years, I can no longer handle the longer heavier trimmers. I was able to trim my hedges without resting too much. Hopefully it will last many years.

This new model only lasted two weeks and then a gear (plastic?) stripped out. Not happy. Previous model lasted nearly 20 years.

It was easy to operate, even for a Novice like my husband. He did a great job trimming our tree/bushes. I would recommend this particular Hedge Trimmer due to simple operation & it was a great price.

This hedge trimmer replaced my old faithful Craftsman trimmer and it was a great replacement. Much lighter than my old one and did a significantly better job of cutting. Granted my old one was over 10 years old, but this trimmer seems an upgrade none-the-less. Very pleased.

Great trimmer
I bought this in early May to replace an old 16' Black and Decker that was a couple of decades or more old that did not work because of an electrical issue. This new trimmer is lighter, easier to handle, smoother and even quieter with less vibration than the old model it replaced. I also love the cord retension clip that solves the problem of the plug coming loose when you're moving around. Highly Recommended!
