Needs an oil reservoir for the bar and chain oil. Worked well, Holly bush plugged up the chute kind of too often

I've had my Alligator for years. I'm a senior citizen widow and I have used this tool numerous times to cut up fallen trees on my property in Maine. I love it so much I bought one for my kids. It is extremely safe as both "buttons" on the handles have to be depressed for it to cut. I have the electric model because it is very light weight and easy to use. Awesome!!!

Does a great job. So much safer then a regular chainsaw. A little heavy but still easier to handle.

I have used the Alligator Lopper for many years now and currently own two. They do the job as advertised and perhaps even more. From trimming small branches to small trees it is the ideal tool. Save time over manual tools and often do the job of a harder to handle conventional chainsaw.

I was able to chop down several dead shrubs. I am a 62 year old woman with arthritis and although the lopper felt a bit heavy for my arms, I was able to chop down tall dead shrubs.

I have used this on a couple of occasions and it is awesome.

Great tool, works as described and easy to handle

So easy to use, and it cut bigger branches than expected.

I was unsure if I would get enough use out of this. I do have a chainsaw for big stuff, and bypass loppers for smaller stuff, plus a few cordless saws for inbetween. But I love this thing. It's so handy to just grab and cut in one motion. This is absolutely ideal for cutting up limbs and small trees that are already on the ground. Be aware that there is a proper way to hold this. You can use it upside down, but it "picks" up much better when you hold it the proper way.

I’m a 64 YO woman and while I love this tool, it does get heavy after a while. I’ve been trimming back 16-18 ft tall sweet olives that sustained substantial damage during the winter storms that hit the south during February. That being said, if I had to use my old loppers I’d probably be out there until September trying to get them cut back.

My husband really likes it. It is easy to use and cuts up smaller tree branches quick.

The Alligator lopper is the perfect tool. I have many large shrubs to prune back, and I really don't feel comfortable using a chainsaw. (I'm a small woman.) It handles well and is not overly heavy. I have been wanting one for yearsI have used it twice now, and am very happy I got it..

For the right job, this tool is perfect. Have used for more than 10 years to cut up brush, etc. When used to its full capacity, can cut up to 8 inch diameter. Holds branches in jaws and prevents vibration. Great.
