I have purchased this blender before and loved it. It lasted over 6 years of pretty heavy use. I noticed the blade top has new lighter plastic that is hopefully stronger because that cracked on my old one from grasping it hard to tighten it. Love that everything is dishwasher safe and the blade is strong enough to rip through anything so quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this recently and within 2 days from purchase. The motor stopped and no longer worked. I am very disappointed that it no longer works.

A super convenient Smoothie blender
I love this little blender. It's super convenient for my smoothies on the go.
My protein powder is naked beauty and I prefer everything unsweetened and I use fruit to make it more nutritious.
I usually don't add ice.

Caused Laceration
I bought this blender and was attempting to make a smoothie.The blade got stuck in the base but when that happened in the past, I just picked it up and turned it upside down in order to get it to operate. Not so lucky this time. Before I had a chance to turn it upside down, the blade lacerated my thumb 3.5 inches. There was blood everywhere and my husband had to take me to the emergency room. I had 14 stitches and a lot of pain. Do not buy this blender.

love this product
I was given this as a gift last summer and I love it. I used it almost every day last summer, making 2 smoothies a day and even took it on trips with me.
This summer I pulled it out and the blender cup leaks through the bottom. Is this the gasket everyone is talking about. How do I get a new one.

Easy to use. The main reason I picked the Black+Decker over other personal blender brands was because it included two bottles and lids. The only issue I have had is that you really have to be sure not to overfill it before blending and follow the instructions on filling order.

I like it, would love it but it has one small flaw, the blade is setting up high, so if you try to chop small things,They will sit below the blades, you have to turn it over to get it to chop them. Other than that, I use it regularly to make shakes.

I've had this since January (11 months). I've LOVED the smoothies and the small size and the way it works. Today though the button got stuck in the blender and I could not turn it off. I had to pull the plug from the wall. Please let me know how to get in warranty support. I love my blender but I need the button to work.

Just Ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter used at first with yogurt. I recently started making smoothies for my self using almond/coconut milk. At least half of liquid I put in runs through the bottom all over the counter.
It does eventually blend everything, but it takes almost 10 minutes and a lot of taking off and shaking.

Problem with the Base
I bought this blender for my wife for Christmas 2017. I knew that she would love that it came with the jars so she could mix and take them to work in one jar. It's a great blender. We've been impressed, but today, while making the smoothy, it made a funny noise, the base stopped working, and when we opened it it was very hot. It's still under warranty, so I need someone from Black and Decker to contact me about a replacement.

I love this appliance as well. It was a Mother's Day gift from my husband. Love my berry smoothies. It does a much better job than my big blender. Unfortunately, mine just did the exact same thing. It was making a funny noise. I unsnapped it from the base. There was some smoke. The blade had dropped out of the base and was loose. It was shaving the plastic in rings from the base as it spun. :( How do I get a new base piece?

Love this blender, use it every day!
We bought this blender a year or so ago, and I use it every morning. Unfortunately the blade just fell out a few days ago and chopped up some of the chopper lid before I could turn it off. Luckily we had bought extra bottles that came with an extra chopper, so I can keep using it, but it was really nice having 2, and kind of scary when it came off.
