Love the easy slip on/off quality. Very warm with simple, yet functional design. Great for mucking around muddy or snowy yard. Easy to clean and store.

My husband got a size 16, which is what he usually wears but they were too big. I got his a size 15 and he loves them! He hasn't had an ACTUAL pair of winter boots in his adult life. Crazy I know! He loves them and wears them when he is going out to work!

I got the boots for my son, and had to return them bc they are way too heavy. he cannot run with them. It was disappointing.

in the snow it is warm and dry

My husband loves the boots perfect for very snowy days and cold. His feet stayed warm and dry.

I purchased a pair of Bogs and in a very short time wore out the liner in the heel area on the inside of the boot which ended up causing a raw spot and significant pain. Bog was very good about replacing the boots but the new pair is very stiff in the inside heel area and rubs the spot the first pair injured and I now cannot wear them. It's too bad because I really like the first pair until the liner failed, they were great for snow blowing and I even snow shoed in them.

As a veggie farmer in Wisconsin I need a tough boot. After trying THREE different womens boots and having the same weak areas that crack and split (no longer waterproof)I thought maybe a mens boot will be built truly durable. However, the sizing isn't appropriate for a ladies foot-the boot is too short in the toes and way too wide in both footbed and around calf. My husband has good luck with bogs, can get almost two farm seasons out of one pair before they split/crack too much. I'd love if BOGS could build a real farm boot for the ladies too! I don't expect them to last forever but they should hold up at least a year for the upfront cost. My past three pairs are now being recycled as plant pots :( Yes, the company sent me a replacement pair when I complained but that's besides the point to me. I'm not keen on being a part of the disposable mindset that prevails in our society.

These boots do not feel like boots, they fit like sportshoes. Very comfortable, just wearing them, also when walking longer distances. Great value for money. If anything ever happens with them, I will buy new Bogs on the same day!

I am a sports medicine fellow that spends a lot of time in the operating room doing arthroscopy. My Bogs keep me warm and dry without being too hot. I have excellent mobility and stability without any compromise of comfort. Bogs we recommended by a previous fellow as being the best operating room boot ever. He was not wrong.

I bought these for my husband who is PICKY about shoes. He owns at least a half dozen pair of boots for all sorts of different uses. Two or three different styles of "snow" boots, a pair of rubber boots, a pair of casual muck-type boots, a pair of military type...you get the idea. If he's changing irrigation pipes in the field he wants one thing, going out in the snow to play with the kids he needs another, riding his motorbike something else. So far these boots are what he grabs for almost EVERYTHING!!!!!! This winter they've been good for everything from just running the garbage out through the snow to the can or spending the whole day out plowing the road and sledding with the kids. Perfect boots, perfect fit, perfect comfort. Perfect.

I have wanted a quality pair of winter boots for quite sometime. I finally decide to spent the money and purchase a pair of Bogs from Eastern Mountain Sports. They are warm; the sole is comfortable; my feet are dry even in the craziest of weather. The haven't disappointed, save for two crucial areas: (1) I wish there were half sizes. The men's 12 was just too big to allow my foot to move side to side; the men's 11 is just barely too small, though so far it hasn't been that much of a problem. (2) The major issue, at least for me, concerns the seam running up the back of the boot starting at the heel. I have developed blisters on both feet from the rubbing, but I am unsure whether this is a structural deficiency, or whether it stems from (1) above. I will give it some time to see if it goes away, but if it continues there is simply no way I can wear these for longer than a walk around the block. Sadly, I might have to inquire about a refund from EMS. Aside from the seam issue, these really are some great boots, and I still would recommend them. Just check the sizing very carefully before purchasing.

I was having trouble finding a boot that wouldn't fall apart within 3 months and cause foot pain. I got $150 Wolverines, which were a pain to get on and off, and still got wet inside during rain (not sure how) and took forever to dry. They are also heavy. But they held up and were comfortable. If you were lazy, and just slipped them on, the shoe lace could get caught in the hook, and I took some bad falls as a result. All this solved with this boot! I love it! I use it as my onsite biosecurity boot and it's so easy to slip on and off, plus stays dry inside in wet weather, stays warm in cold weather, holds up to sinking in mud, washes up like a dream, and is comfortable in warmer weather too. How did they do this? It's amazing. I'm vegetarian, and I love that there's no leather, too. My foot pain has subsided since wearing these. The only slight downside is the soft material on the upper part of the boot. It gets wet and takes a while to dry (I use a boot dryer), but it doesn't get wet next to the skin. If you don't tuck in your pants well, or wear tall socks, you can get some chafing. In wet weather, I tuck my jeans inside and have waterproof pants that I leave over the boot so water doesn't get inside, and that solves all issues. I AM THRILLED WITH THIS BOOT!!! I've tried more expensive boots, and they don't even come close to the quality of this one!! I'm female by the way -- ladies, the boot is great.

great boots. very comfy and easy to wear

While I can't say enough great things about these boots, I'll try! I have been wearing these boots just about every day of the last four months to work outside in wet and windy Pacific Northwest weather. These boots are unbelievably comfortable and not just comfortable for rain boots, but for shoes. They offer plenty of cushion and support, and they move well with my feet when I walk. I have found myself reaching for these before my other shoes, and have been wearing them to run errands or to go shopping. I am a woman with a thicker calf and found the men's Ultra High boot to be a much better fit around the calf than the women's Ultra High boot and I am left with plenty of room to tuck in my pants. While this isn't a con or a complaint, I do wish these boots came in half sizes. I normally wear a women's size 9.5-10 and wear a men's size 9 in these boots and I can get a good fit with a thicker sock. I would (and will!) absolutely buy these again.

Why would you not purchase a Bog boot? They have great cushioning, extremely comfortable, and are perfect for 3 out of the 4 seasons! They are durable and will last you a few years, at least thats how long mine seem to wanna go. The only reason I said they feel too wide is because I have a wide foot and they fit me well. Other than that no complaints just great things to say, so find the nearest retailer and at least try a pair on.
