Please see my review for the maker's 8-foot railing as this is basically the same product except the 6-foot sections do not have aluminum reinforcing in the top rail, unlike the 8-foot version, but the 6-foot railing also is quite substantial and no reinforcing is necessary.

Stronger than I had expected for vinyl, looks great with the brilliant white finish, and is well made with no manufacturing flaws. Due to some concerns about my ability to install this in a somewhat complex situation we had a local contractor do the work. It was a learning experience for them but they did an excellent job. The only concern I have is about rain water running down the balusters into the bottom railing, since there is a little clearance where the balusters are set into the rail and there are no drainage holes on the bottom of the rail - probably will drill a couple of holes after speaking with Barratte, the manufacturer\. One of the best attributes of this railing is that it will never need painting and will not rot, unlike the railing which it has replaced. We installed Barrette vinyl fencing about eight years ago and have been quite satisfied with it, and the company has provided excellent customer service via phone.

Looks good upon completion. I especially like the additional aluminum bar in the top rail for added strength. A good option for the six foot section wood be the availability of an aluminum bar to add to them.

Very little maintenance, not very difficult to install, and looks good!

I ordered this online from Home D. We site is a bit confusing and not enough detail - seemed like I saw a different system every time I searched on vinyl deck railing. This premier system seems to be heavier than the traditional model and now that it is up looks great. I installed it on a concrete porch using the post kits. They work very well. I used 1/4 by 2 1/4 inch anchor wedges. They seem sturdy enough - never could see a recommendation from anywhere on the best size to use. 3/8 inch would be stronger but it might be difficult to get all the base plate holes lined up with holes that have to be drilled in concrete. A hammer drill is a necessity to drill the holes in concrete; I ended up buying one from HD for about $50-60 and it worked fine. You can rent them for about $20/day but it took several evenings to get up the five sections that I installed. Used washers on the anchor bolts to set them up vertical. Drilling the holes for the brackets (which come with this set) is a bit of a challenge - the template is cardboard and it gets warped easily and then you have to drill through the steel posts inside the vinyl. Broke many pilot drills. In the end, though I did it myself - with help from the wife setting them in place - and it looks great.

Railings were easy to install and look great. They are high quality and easy to clean/maintain. Love them.

Super simple installation. I installed about 50' of it completely by myself with no trouble at all. Just slip the post covers over existing 4x4s (if that's your situation) slap the provided template on them, drill your holes, install the brackets and pop the railing into place. Easy cheesy! Miter saw comes in handy for making nice, clean cuts for custom lengths.

I installed 7 panels, including a stair-rail and I have to say that this item and its associated pieces are a beautiful work of art. My customer had me replace an aluminum standard railing with the vinyl railing due to the discoloration and deterioration of the aluminum rail and hardware. Just remember, you'll need to cut both the top and bottom rails equally, otherwise your pickets/balusters will not line up. You will NOT want that! Also, being that the Veranda Premier railing is a special order item, you will NEED to double and triple check your orders, otherwise, you will not be able to finish your project as it takes approx. 10 days to fill your order and have it ready. I used a chop saw to cut several of my rails, but then realized, a reciprocating saw is honestly all that's needed, UNLESS you're doing a cut on a stair rail. Then, you'll need the chop saw. Let's just say, I warned you, if you choose to not use the chop saw on that stair rail. Remember, it'll take almost 10 days to get a replacement piece IF you screw up! Do you want to wait 10 days for delivery and in that time, have NO railing in place (assuming you removed the old rails, which, to acquire perfect measurements, you'd need to do anyway. The railing is super robust and if you order the 8' rail, it will come with an aluminum insert which is hidden, and adds some serious structural stability to the rail. Lots of steps and tools to keep in mind, and if it only takes you a few short hours to install the rails, as I've actually seeing some reviewers suggest it took them,......well, you may have rushed the job. I spent 3 days installing about 45 feet of rail , which included a first and second floor balcony,...and I wasn't about to worry about my pride and someone else's competitive nature. I was more concerned with my customer's safety. Once done, it looks BEAUTIFUL! Enjoy! :-)

I purchased 24 6' sections for my deck. I was very impressed how it went together and the overall look of the railing. I had priced out another brand at a local lumberyard and it was close to 8k! This was more than half less. The top rail is extremely sturdy. My only criticism would be the lower rail and baluster are not extremely sturdy. With that said they will serve the purpose, I just wouldn't stand on lower bar. Overall I would recommend this product.

Happy with this railing. Included hardware. We had to purchase some minor things to attach to brick.

Had to install four (4) sections with little cutting for them to fit. Found them to be sturdy and well built. Received in excellent condition with sufficient wrapping. Not one scratch. I cut extra lattice to use as shims for posts. The post liner fit perfectly. I tried to add picture/s, but your upload cuts off too much.

the handrail is actually made of thick plastic and is very sturdy. Looks beautiful too. Easy install once you read the instructions twice..

These railings are great but dont follow the directions that come with them. I made that mistake and am out a couple hundred dollars. The directions are for the 36" model and I purchased the 42". I followed the directions on how to cut them to size and when I did the cut was at the balister so now the brackets dont fit. Rendering the railing useless. Also this is 6' in lenth not 5' 8" like the discription says. i would recomend these to someone with some knowledge as to how to install these but not to a first timer. You would waste some money otherwise.
