It does everything it should

Excellent for alerting

So far so good. We placed it in the basement where we don't go that often. We have checked it to make sure it is still working and it is. Thanks.

Too bad they no longer sell these in the store. Great inexpensive alarm for laundry, water heater, boiler, anything that could leak water causing damage.Cheap insurance.

So far, so good. After installing, I accidentally spilled some water into the location. The alarm went off immediately. I have this installed in the pan under my hot water heater.

The basement has not flooded yet to see if it actually will work. But testing it in water it worked great.

This is a great product. I have 2 by now and will get more.

I have multiple units in my home and motor home in leak prone areas. (Water heater,ac units, water pumps, and areas with multiple connections,etc.) Saved the day many times so far.They are a great product….. It would be great if in addition to the current 9 volt battery unit they offered a 110 volt plug in unit . They Work…….

Thank God we had not had any alarms sound. We put water on our finger and it made a loud sound that we could hear at the other end of the house.

It works well when I test it. Luckily I haven't had a flood yet since I got it to test it in action.

Simple and inexpensive solution until a much more complicated (expensive) can be designed and installed.

An employee looked up the location, aisle and bin numbers for me and we had a pleasant chat.

Inexpensive way to monitor drain backup or water heater leakage. Alerted me when water heater failed.

I have three of these. One went off by my heater\air condition unit. After extracting the water from the floor we traced the water intrusion due to the a-coil rusting out causing the water from the evaporator to go on the floor. Replaced with a new a-coil problem solved with no damage from the water intrusion. 2nd alarm went off by my hot water heater. Small hole rusted out in bottom of water heater. Replaced water heater with no water damage in the basement. I have a third alarm by my laundry tub that our washing machine drains into then out the wall to the sewer system.

Easy to set up and use. Now we feel protected against another flooring replacement from bad washing machines

The water alarm cannot be tested to see whether it works. There are no instructions on how to test it. It may be working, or it may not be working.

Great security at a good price!

The actual sensor is connected to the alarm by several feet of cable. This gives it greater versatility in placing the sensor wherever it would be most needed to detect the start of a water leak or water damage.
