So far so good. Might be nice to have a way to latch it closed from the outside.

It was an exact replacement for my 61 year old Biloxi doors. Love the gas cylinder update for opening an closing. Perfect fit. Wish all products held up as long as Bilco’s doors do.

It seems pretty rugged but don’t like how the front doesn’t really seal to the concrete. The right door doesn’t close well it binds at the bottom and catches on the bolt head.

Very Very disappointed! Wrong color shipped….Quality goodI ordered the powder brick (both pieces extension and doors). Once construction crew installed and I got home, the doors were black. Too late to remove and far to heavy to return, etc. I’ll have to paint (more expense) or just leave two-toned.

I think every bulkhead in America is a Bilco, so there probably is no comparison...This unit is strong, well designed, professionally painted, easy to install and I am confident it will last for ever...

The Bilco doors are excellent...easy open and close...and good looking too! Great fit. Only snafu was delivery problems (first delivery cancelled by ? Second delivery arrived 2 weeks early...which wouldn’t have been a problem except I had scheduled someone to install it based on the stated date

This was a replacement for one installed in our home over 30 years ago. This original one had rusted out in a few places. The new one was the same size as the original and the install was relatively easy. It looks good although I would have thought that the powder coat would have been thicker, for more protection. It met my expectations. The only downside was the high cost. I thought that for the price it would have been more heavy duty than it appears. I was really concerned about the price, but I really didn't have a choice. Hope it lasts another 30 years. Five stars for the quality, appearance,, etc. but four stars for the price.

Got just what i expected. Replaced a set of 20 year old Bilco doors. Perfect fit. Easy install. And the gas cylinders are SO much better than the old torsion springs they used to use!!

Arrived on time. A perfect replacement for my 38-year-old Bilko door. Even better because of the powder finish.

When the frame is assembled, it does not hold the correct position for marking the drill holes (sides were splayed out). This makes a difficult one-man job due to the amount of force required to hold the side pieces perfectly level. This step is critical when drilling the holes into concrete since there is no room for error. Struts are a nice feature. The inside latch is not a snug fit. Doors are heavy and solid. There is a significant gap at the bottom of the diagonal side pieces, too big to caulk. Final look is nice. Not sure why the color we chose is hundreds of dollars more than other colors.

Great looking Bilco door. Installed by contractor, however they thought it was an easy install.

The assisted lifts are handy. The doors are sturdy and the powder coating saves a lot of time now and grief in the future.
