Good size and drainage. We are growing kale in the pot, and it has plenty of room. With all of the rain we received in July 2020, it is good to have the space underneath to deal with the extra water so that the plants aren't overwatered.

Surprisingly exceeded expectations! I have an indeterminate tomato plant in each 16” planter and it holds enough soil my plants have shot up in size and stay hydrated during the 90F weather we’ve been getting. The self-watering bottom has also keep the plants cool in the heat. I’d buy it again but maybe not in that bright green color

I bought this, not for a planter but for a patio umbrella base. HDepot had none in stock. One 60 lb. bad of mortar mix and a 2 ft. length of 2in.pvc pipe. Worked great!
