800 series Bosch Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Bosch dishwasher! Sleek design and super quiet. Flexible rack placement is a great feature for various size pots. I also like the third rack for utensils.

My Bosch 800 series, a great machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Bosch 800 series dishwasher uses significantly less dishwashing detergent while cleaning & sterilizing my dirties better than any other dishwasher that has ever lived in my home.

      Glad We're Back to Bosch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many years of enduring poor quality dishwashers, we finally got a Bosch 800 series dishwasher at our last residence on a friend's recommendation. It was truly the best dishwasher applicance we had ever owned and couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately, we had to leave it behind when we moved to our new residence. But, we decided that nothing compared with our former Bosch and ended-up getting a similar 800 series dishwasher at our new home replacing the one one that the house came with. What a difference! The Bosch is entirely superior in both cleaning and drying, not to mention the much more robust build quality. This dishwashwer is solid! The top control panel section is actual stainless steel, not just gray plastic; the door stays down when opened; the top cutlery (3rd) rack is extremely effective at cleaning both sides of the items; the sliding door dispenser located near the top center of the door keeps it from getting filled with water when loading and also avoids it from becoming hung up on tall dishes. We also appreciate the sealed top controls and status & time displays. Overall, these Bosch dishwashers are clearly well engineered with many thoughtful design features and outstanding build quality. Well worth every penny. Glad we're back with Bosch!

        Sleek and Quiet

My #1 priority was a quiet dishwasher and research told me this was one of the quietest on the market - and dang is it quiet! Our previous dishwasher we only washed over night at bed it was so loud - this one as indicated often you can barely hear it is running. We will run it now even in our open floor plan where the TV couch is right behind the island counter with the dishwasher. The only "loud" part of dishwashing now seems unavoidable - when the dishwasher pumps out dirty water into the sink drain the rush of water is a bit loud - but I suppose that is unavoidable as the sound is actually coming from the sink drain hole. It only lasts a few seconds and happens 2-3 times a cycle so no big deal. The installation was easy enough, I did it myself. The hardest part was clamping it to the sink counter but a few youtube videos got me through it. It's also slightly dififcult to adjust the feet just right to have it level if you have no tile where the back feet are - but it was manageable. At first the 3rd rack feels weird to put silverware on top - but I took out the silverware racks (they sit in the under sink cabinet unused now) and the main benefit is you have more space on the bottom rack if you don't use the silverware holder. Also while putting the silverware in the dishwasher takes more time - taking out is actually faster because you just grab handfuls of silverware and easily put them back in a drawer. I mostly use it on auto (and I am using rinse aid) - the cleaning and drying is excellent. I used heavy 1 time on some super soiled pots & pans and they came out spotless - so that is nice. Haven't used the quick cycles yet but I read that the quick cycles + sanitize are great for quick runs with baby bottles and I'll be dealing with that in a few months.

          Almost the perfect Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement after we got flooded by Hurricane Ian. We wanted quiet, good with drying, and good with plastics. This unit met all our requirements. Very happy with the quality and actually like the Wi-Fi option. Highly recommend based on your budget.

Cleans better than my prior washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wrote one review before. I have had the dishwasher for a few weeks now. Here are some updates. No doubt, using the exact same detergent (Lemi Shine, Dishwashing Detergent Pods) that I was using before, the Bosch cleans better than my old LG washer (which was ~10 years old). I can really see the difference in a glass pan that I use to roast vegitables in olive oil in the oven. The Bosch successfully removes that burned on oil or the sugary residue from a roasted sweet potato in a way the LG didn't. I miss two things about the LG. The racks in the LG seemed to glide in a more sturdy way. The upper utencil rack in the LG neatly aligned my utencils in a way that Bosch grooves don't behave in the same way. That said, there is intention to the Bosch design. I find that I can easily fit a LOT into the washer at slight angles so that they drip dry. Finally, a key deciding factor in this model was the screen. In a household of a spouse and kids coming and going, the screen clearly communicates what is going on in the washer: is it running? dirty? clean?

              Works.well, bad warranty
Runs very quiet and cleans dishes well. Ive had the dishwasher about 8 months now, and the top control panel has cracked, and it looks awful. Be aware Bosch offers only 30 days for “cosmetic” issues. Ridiculous. Do better, Bosch

                Best Dishwasher on the Market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased our 800 Series dishwasher to replace our old one which was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. This is without a doubt the best dishwasher on the market. Extremely quiet and does a great job of cleaning and fully drying everything we wash including plastics. We give it a 5 star rating.

The "finshed" screen is what I wanted
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My prior dishwasher displayed a green light if the load was done and clean. Once you opened the dishwasher, the green light turned off. Thus, if you opened the dishwasher and didn't have time to unload it, then the green light would turn off and the next family member might load dirty dishes into a clean load. I cared a lot about the way this dishwasher would behave when the load was finished. Here is what happens: When the washer finishes, the screen displays "Finished" until you open the dishwasher. Once you open the diswasher, the screen will continue to display "Finished" until you close the dishwasher completely again or turn off the dishwasher. This means you can open the dishwasher, remove a clean item, allow the springs to keep the door amost entirely closed, and the screen will still display "Finished" to your other family members until someone unloads the washer or until someone bumps the dishwasher door closed. If you bump the door closed the screen will display "Please start dishwasher." If you reopen the door, the screen will display a blank line assuming you are about to start a new load from scratch given that you haven't yet turned off the dishwasher. In many alternative makes and models I was considering, I was finding that the finished light, if offered, would do things like turn off after 3 hours. That wouldn't help clearify the status of the dishes to a busy household. Other comments: The dishwasher is very quite. I like that the plate racks have a slight angle in the bottom tray as opposed to a completely vertical post like my old washer that resulted in domino plates when a plate tipped over. I liked the utencil drawer in my old LG slightly more for one OCD reason, the utencils sat in nice vertically aligned rows. With all the notches in the 3rd utencil rack, the utencils tend to end up sitting at slight angles to one another as opposed to perfectly aligned.

                        Terrible dishwasher
I purchased the 800 series with the Crystal Dry feature last May. From the very beginning, I noticed the my glasses were cloudy, dirty and had drip lines. Bubbles would form when filling with water which required rinsing several times to clear. So, after several phone calls with adjustments to the machine being recommended, they finally sent out a tech. Four techs later, the problems remain!

It comes defective - crimped by a forklift, Bosch customer service is poor.
It had issues from go. We first noticed that the wheels on the bottom drawer don't roll & drag across the door. On one side all of the wheels have chips and black material on them. Same side inside wall has a crimped & scratched horizontal line the entire depth. I filed a claim with Bosch. Probably should've waited longer...as we use it, more problems. It does a terrible job of getting dairy off dishes, silverware, the inside. Any dairy that dripped on the bottom and inside of the door when the racks is still there after several washes. Intermittently, it wants to stay in the auto mode. We will change it to heavy and it will immediately go back to auto. When happening we can't use any of the modification control buttons on the R-hand side such as delay. What is a constant is that no matter what cycle settings we use, when we open the dishwasher it reverts back to auto and not the last used cycle as per the instruction book.

I had high expectations for the Bosch 800 dishwasher. I was very disappointed. The dishes didn’t dry…I used the rinse agent as recommended yet on the normal setting the dishes and silverware are literally dripping wet. When used with the Crystal Dry setting the dishes are dry…and the silverware is almost dry. I don’t find it acceptable that an appliance doesn’t perform as expected in its “normal” setting. Additionally…though it only happened once…I actually had a dirty dish after it ran! It’s going back…

                            Very quiet!
We just replaced our 15 year old JennAir dishwasher with the Bosch 800. I did a lot of research online to determine what model I wanted. Due to the pandemic, many products are on back order. I did not get the exact door type that I wanted, however, the pocket door was the compromise and we are not complaining. We are still trying to figure out how to efficiently load the dishwasher after a couple of weeks of use. Remember, we are not newbies on dishwashers. But the configuration layout is much different than our previous dishwashers. It is very helpful that the racks are adjustable! You can even adjust the middle rack on an angle to accommodate taller dishes on one side or the other in the bottom rack. Love the third rack for utensils but it does take up space that presents a challenge in loading our daily-used pedestal glasses. We did our own installation and it was fairly easy. The Instructions were spot on. This dishwasher is very quiet compared to our older model. Bosch has done a great job on this. Overall, very satisfied.

                            Amazing cleaning results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to my previous dishwashers (GE Profile, Whirlpool) this Bosch has produced outstanding cleaning results. Night and day literally. Never seen stuck food on silverware on the 3rd rack (daily issue with whirlpool). Drying was also very good unlike common complaints about Bosch. Noise level is where I got mixed results (not a deal breaker but worth mentioning): in some modes it gave much higher than expected noises. Specifically the auto mode and speed cycle were the loudest. It would be more fair to list noise levels for each cycle because in some modes (delicate) it was virtually silent. WiFi integration works great although there are few areas I would like to see fixed: 1) when it shows history of runs please list some more useful information like what settings were used, duration, etc) 2) setting water hardness is only possible after factory reset. After initial setup the option disappeared. 3) provide an option to control time out duration between selecting a program start and when you should close the lid. Default and only setting of 4 seconds is too short.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Maytag, GE, and Kitchenaid. Hands down this is the best and most advanced of all the dishwashers I've ever owned. Not only is it quiet, technologically advanced and cleans extremely well, but it also makes my kitchen look like it's had a extensive renovation. Both this and my 800 fridge just made my kitchen look brand new. Can't wait to get my stove next!

Newer model not as well built as our old Bosch
I miss the brass fittings that have been replaced by plastic and require very careful hooking up, tough when you are contorted. Also you need a special adapter kit for hard wire install and another adapter for hooking up to a garbage disposal. Once installed it is quiet and cleans well just wish they didn't scimp on the essentials. Probably still one of the best dishwashers out there.

                                  Be Careful of Hidden Fees
The dishwasher is great! It is quiet and the third row for utensils is great! The delivery and install was not great. The delivery team arrived. They said the plumbing needed the valve replaced to work with this new dishwasher. My wife checked three times with the original install team when they said a plumber would have to come out and they said it was included with our original install and delivery fees. The plumber came out and said the Home Depot delivery teams lie all the time and it would be an additional $400. They completed the work. My wife asked if they were taking the trash from the dishwasher packaging. They said no. It was the least they could have done for $400. I spoke with a Home Depot Manager and they refunded $200, but was still out another $200 beyond the $200 originally planned fee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher has been amazing after our previous Kitchenaid one. The phone notification and time completion visibility on the dishwasher are the best features. The top third row is something we use more often than we thought we would. This is our first Bosch appliance, and we will certainly be purchasing more.

My husband is on his hands and knees in the floor with his ear to the dishwasher door to see if it's running. It was but that's how quiet this machine is. 3rd rack really must have for baby related accessories (including breastfeeding tools). My only real gripe is that the 2nd rack is wobbly. The dishwasher door isnt very sturdy and twists too far in my opinion when moving the dishwasher especially for the price.Should be like a fortress. That's why I gave a lesser score for value and quality.

We researched quite a bit before deciding on this DW. Consumer reports had great reviews and a few friends praised it also. The adjustability of the middle and upper (third) shelf is very useful and handy. We are unpacking from our move and washing everything so we are quickly learning about the flexibility of these shelves. Super quiet also! Sorry the pic was taken while backsplash was being installed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased this BOSCH 800 dishwasher. And we are very impressed with the unit. It is extremely quiet I can't even tell it's running. I love that it is a fully closed system. It has a sensor underneath it in case it has any type of leaks. The functionality of the touch keypad is very reactive to touch. The stainless steel is soft/satin and easy to clean and keep it fingerprint free if you use a microfiber cloth. My dishes have never been cleaner! Truly impressed with this dishwasher.

                                        Great dishwasher so far
We just got our Bosch dishwasher and have had it for a week so far. It is EXTREMELY QUIET, offers lots of loading flexibility, and cleans dishes extremely well. After a bad couple of years with our previous dishwasher, we decided it was time to look into a brand known for its quality, and we got this Bosch. The drying performance is just average. On one occasion we found a Tupperware completely filled to the brim with water (it didn't have a lid), but all the dishes came out completely dried. There's nothing too special about the drying performance of this dishwasher. The washing performance, however, is extremely satisfying. I've only seen one or two food specs ever on dishes, and we usually have low to medium-soiled loads. Probably the most astoundingly good aspect of this dishwasher is the noise level. It is SO QUIET that we have to look at the red InfoLight to tell if it's running at at all. In fact, it clocked in at 44 db, just above the advertised level, according to the Series 6 Apple Watch's decibel meter. If InfoLight wasn't a feature, we would've been wondering if it was on at all! The CrystalDry process at the end of the wash, however, produces a humming noise that's noticeably louder than the rest of the wash. It's still very unobtrusive, however. The fancy display on the control panel is another great feature. You don't have to guess the time the dishwasher will take for a certain cycle; the display tells that time right there once you've selected a cycle! For example, if you're on a tight schedule and you want to know exactly when the cycle will be done, you could just look at the display and adjust your cycle to match the time that you want it to take. The loading flexibility is another thing we like about this dishwasher. The third rack allows for even more efficient storing of silverware, in addition to the basket on the lower rack! Our old dishwasher didn't have foldable tines, so this dishwasher allows for way more dishes to be stored inside. The door is also highly fingerprint resistant, so you don't have to clean it constantly, which was something our old dishwasher suffered from. Overall, this dishwasher has definitely satisfied our needs during the first week of usage, and it seems that Bosch has gone above and beyond to create products with great performance. The only test now is to see how many years it will last.

                                          Would not recommend
I have had this washer for 2 years and I can't wait to replace it.  The dishes come out wet, even when using a rinse aid. I run the dish washer twice for every load. the second run is just to rinse off all the soap scum left by the first run. Picture below shows a blender bottle that was just cleaned by the dish washer.  The amount of soap scum left on the dishes is disturbing.  I would just use this dish washer as a wash rack, but the tines are so close and oddly spaced that it doesn't even work for that.  Overall, unless you enjoy drinking soap water and having water rings in your kitchen cabinets I would not recommend this dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Besides perfect washing with minimal noise and consumption, I am enjoying the best drying performance in the market!! And thanks to Home Connect, all the features are in my cell phone now. Top appliance!

Nothing but trouble after only two weeks
We bought this dishwasher in January 2021 for installation in our newly renovated house which we didn't move into until late March. The dishwasher wasn't used until March 24th & we've had nothing but problems with it ever since. It continually says WATER TAP even though the plumber has checked the water supply & there's no blockage whatsoever. We thought it just might be a faulty sensor but things have just gone from bad to worse. If we turn the dishwasher on it will not allow us to choose a cycle on the left or the right. No drying occurs & when we open it everything is soaking wet. Many times we try to start it & it just turns itself off & won't run at all. Last few days we were only able to get it to start twice & both times we discovered sizable pools of water in front of the dishwasher. Now after closer examination we can see the dishwasher is actually leaking while it's running & has severely damaged the adjacent cabinet & our hardwood flooring. We tried to contact Bosch today but they referred us to another company with just an answering machine. We've never owned a Bosch before & purchased it with such high expectations but this has been a disastrous purchase for us & now we must pay the cabinetmaker to come fix our cabinets etc. Very disappointed in the Bosch product!

                                                Does Not Dry As Advertised
One of the key features that drove us to select this more expensive model over the others was the advertised feature that it could dry plastic ware. All of our attempts to run with different settings over the past month failed to produce that result. Both dishes and plastic ware are dripping wet, not dry. The old $300 dishwasher that we replaced was able to dry more effectively than this $1150 model.
