I bought this machine 3 years ago and I seldom have chance to use. And it has black oil leakage and in the dough now.

I’ve had my breadman 2 lb professional bread maker for years and it works very well, love all the options you have and recipe book included. Main problem is the paddle scrapes the Teflon from the inside of the pan off and into the dough. Need a replacement bread pan

so we personally haven't time to make bread or delicious baking stuff but we decide to buy it for mom and we make a right choice. as from that moment we have fresh delicious bread every day with natural ingredients and easy. just one minus here is machine kinda big and not compact to carry it at usual small kitchen. but from another side - easy to use, you can make bread overnight, lots of helpful modes.

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is a noisy machine. Otherwise, it makes awesome gluten free bread and white bread. My first machine was a Breadman . and could never make great bread, so I was skeptical when my friend gave it to me. I'm sooo glad it has been upgraded. I'm loving it!

I love this product I had it for a while and my kids love to help me make bread.

I received this as a Christmas gift. I have tried many of the recipes and so far none of them make a loaf of bread we can eat. The bread comes out like a brick everytime. I used a recipe from a different bread maker and the bread came out ok but not what I expect from a breadmaker. It is loud and sounds like the pan comes off of the device used to turn the kneader. This does not meet my expectations but since it was a gift I don't know how to go about returning it.

My sister has had her Breadman machine for over 10yrs so I decided to get one. We purchased the 2lb Professional and I cannot say enough about this machine. We have made several loaves of bread, dough for bierocks and cinnamon rolls. I have had other machines in the past, but this one is the best of all. Breadman is the only machine I will ever buy!!!

We had an older version of Breadman and loved it before the pan started leaking, hence a new machine. However, this model is not up to our expectation. It's missing some of the functions which we missed, and also there were too many beepings during the baking. Like many others, the paddle scratches the teflon but I want to reiterate that there's always oil grease on the bread dough. Is this even good for consumption?

Have made a couple of loafs of bread. Beer bread and cheese bread and both came out great. Made kiwi strawberry preserves last night. So far love this purchase

Works great and simple to use. Measure, dump in the ingredients and push a button. Wait... it’s done!!!

We like our BK1050S, and use it regularly. The bread comes out exactly as expected, almost every time. (We don't do any breads with nuts or anything like that, we just create standard loaves.) We did notice that the paddle scrapes away the Teflon coating -- but we thought this was just normal wear and tear. Judging from some other reviews, it's not supposed to do that. So we're wondering if maybe we need to replace the bread pan before we continue to use the machine. Has anyone replaced the bread pan on this machine? Is it expensive? Thanks.

After 6 months of use our machine continued to leak paddle oil into every single loaf we made. We stopped using it once our paddle snapped in half inside a loaf. Would not purchase this product again.

Worst bread maker I've ever had. None of the recipes work. Requires vital wheat gluten - difficult to fine and the loaf still comes out like a brick.

I'm using the model 1060BC 3-4 times a week for a year now. Bread is delicious and so easy to do. Even my husband who doesn't do much in the kitchen except putting bread in the toaster is baking wonderful bread with this machine. The smell of fresh bread in the house is wonderful too, my teenagers love it. Unfortunately, the scrapper began to scratch the Teflon and now the retaining part fell off, I can't use my machine anymore. Hope I can fix it quickly, I don't want to return to commercial bread!

I bought a new Breadman Bread Maker because the one I had first was really great. The bread I made came out really great; crunch crust (just like I like it) and soft center. I'm looking forward to experimenting with my gluten free recipes.

I'm reserving my opinion - so far it hasn't produced a bread like I expected and like I had on my old machine. First the 2# loaf fell as it touched the top of the lid - then the next two - I made smaller - one was "kind of" satisfactory, - the second one was very dense & too small! I am not happy!

I BOUGHT MY BREADMAN MACHINE 3 YRS AGO, AND NEVER USED IT TILL 6MONTHS AFTER. IIII LLOVVVEE IIITTTT SO MUCH, I USE IT ALL THE TIME, AND I BACK AT LEAST 4 TIMES A WEEK, AND TAKE THE LOAFS TO WORK, MY JOB /FRIENDS/COWORKERS, LOVE IT. THEY CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR THE BREAD IN THE MORNING. I WOULD LOVE THE NEW ONE, THAT MAKES 2 LOAFS AT ONCE. OMG!!! I WANT IT.

Very disappointed. The paddle gets loose and ends up in the bread. What makes this worse, is that the loosening happens early in the cycle, and the ingredients are not properly mixed or kneaded. I uncovered this when, I noticed the machine didn't sound right. The center was turning, but the paddle had already come loose and was in the dough. (I was using a recipe from the Breadman cookbook). I replaced the paddle, put the dough back in the pan, and within a few minutes, the paddle had again come loose. I found the machine to be unusable and plan to return as soon as possible. I've had other Breadman machines, really enjoyed using them, and recommended them, but there appears to be really something wrong with this one.

I bought my breadmaker (BK1060BC) two years ago and I had to bring it back twice (scratched pan, broken paddle). Now, with my third machine, the paddle broke ... I like using my breadmaker, making bread for my big family... but I am tired to have to bring it back.

I bought this a couple of years ago. About the 3rd use the teflon scraped from the bottom and now of course the bread sticks to the metal when trying to remove a loaf making a less then stellar loaf of bread. Occasionally for whatever reason oil leaks into the dough and the top of the bread has black marks. Very disappointed as I never buy bread. The paddle sometimes collapses and does not knead the dough. Will have to get another brand unfortunately. These issues seem to be common .

This bread machine does everything I expected of it the only thing I don't like about it is the paddle it comes loose in the bread and makes a big hole in the bottom of the loaf when you take it out I used Pam on it that made it come off in the bread if I don't spray it it stays in the machine when the bread is removed. Everything else is A OK

i have made several loaves of bread,followed the recipe to the "T"; could not get the bread out of the pan(it does not say to oil the pan) & it was so over done it could not be cut. i had another brand before this one that was really great & i never had a problem with it. at this point I am very frustrated & disappointed & wish i would have never ordered it!

While Europe has the luxury of bread machines with stainless steel bread pans, the U.S. still does not. However, I researched the available bread machines in the U.S. and decided to purchase the Breadman 2lb. Professional Bread Maker. Lover the machine, and the bread is wonderful. That said, after just a few uses, the paddle began to scratch off the teflon coating during use. I am a former sales rep of high end nonstick cookware, and I always take great measures in the care of my nonstick cookware. I also know that this is when teflon pans are no longer healthy to use. I have placed an order for a replacement pan; however, the cost is about 1/3 of the cost for the machine. This is not cost effective and concerns me greatly. If the pan scratches so quickly again, I will be forced to look for another alternative. So sad since this has the potential to be a 5 star excellent product.

I have had this breadmaker for about 3 weeks. First the loud noises from it are very annoying. I live in a small apartment and it sounds as if a burglar alarm went off. There is no way to adjust the volume. As far as making bread, the only thing that has worked is the dough function (pizza dough). Every bread recipe I have tried either doesn't mix (left with a baking clump of dough) or worse yet sticks to the pan and have to use a butter knife to get out. The pan is now scraped up. This was a waste of money and would not recommend.

I received my Breadman Professional Bread Maker last week. I have tried to make 3 loaves following the instructions and recipes supplied with the Bread Maker. I tried the low carb rye bread twice, did not rise either time. I ended up with a "blob" of baked yuck. Tried the Rapid White and it was chewy and clumpy, not quite baked all the way through. I have all "new" ingredients, measure exactly, and don't know what is wrong. This is my third breadmaker and have never had an issue like this.
