Had this unit installed about two years ago and have burned out two motors already, not happy!

This is our second fan (same make). We purchased the first one about twelve years ago. We bought the same model for the excellent heater and fan. Our bathroom has great lighting, so we rarely used the light features. Our neighbor installed the fan for us. Thanks, Michael. Great product.

Excellent exhaust fan...quiet and strong. Heater is not as quiet as the exhaust fan, but warms very well.

This is the third one of these that we have installed over 14 or so years. The fan is very quiet and provides great exhaust and heat. The problem as the other reviews state is that the heater tends to go, and it is easier (for me) to replace the whole unit then to replace the heater element. On inspection, the heater grill tends to pick up dust and i think that it clogs over time causing the element to overheat. So, since I don't like installing these over and over, we will make sure to vacuum the grill regularly.

We bought this item in Jan. 2015. We have had to replace the heat blower once already, a few months ago. The heater has stopped working again. I would advise strongly against purchasing this item.

The fan works really well and it's relatively quiet. The problem I have is with the heater. I've had to replace it once already. Since it was still under warranty, the company sent me a new one free of charge. Now, the heater has gone out again and it's out of warranty. I really don't run the heater very much at all, so this is very disappointing.

Works exactly as expected. The exhaust fan is quiet for a fan of this capacity. Heater and lights work well.

Easy to install if you have access from above or new construction. Needs its own 20 AMP circuit. The fan is so quiet and it puts out a nice amount of heat. Expensive and I wish it took a standard base light bulb Did i mention it was QUIET?

I put this unit in when we remodeled our master bath 4 years ago. The first heat element lasted 2 years, and now the 2nd on has lasted 2 years. It's relatively inexpensive and easy enough to replace, but would like it to last longer. Other than that, the hi-low night light, fan, and heat are great features that make this unit a very good one.

I purchased this a unit a little over a year ago thinking it was top of the line-had a licensed electrician install it when my master bath was being remodeled just to have the fan stop working approx 2 months ago-we are listing our house soon and this is another expense We will incur to get it "show ready" - EXTREMELY disappointed.

Larger footprint required cutting and blocking, plus separate 20amp wiring. It raises the cost to almost double in my case, but I knew that going into it. So, be prepared. However, you'll be happy with the results and Its worth every cent. Heats great, straight down and fast. Exhaust is better than I thought it would be.

Works well. Went in fine. Make sure u have the right switch. Wound up with no switch for the night light.

A Home Depot recommend electrician installed the exhaust fan and the finished product looks great. I like the light in this unit. The unit a lot quieter than the previous unit. I haven't use the heater that much yet, but it works. I will have a better idea in winter when it is a lot colder. For some reason the specifications on this unit were better than a similar Nutone model that cost a lot more. Win for me! Overall I very satisfied with this unit.

Once the ceiling was cut to fit the product, it was an easy install. Works great, not as quiet as I would have thought for the money, but much quieter than the old one!

the only thing that can be done to improve this product is to include 2 timers and 2 switchers

This is a great product. It looks great. Works exactly as advertised. Quite fan, great heat, nice lighting. The physical installation of the product provides a few challenges. It was larger than the unit it was replacing, so cutting out the ceiling and re-installing to joists was challenging, but not too bad. Product instructions tell you to install a 6 inch exhaust vent line for quiet operation. I used a 6" to 4" adapter and ran it through my existing 4" line with no problems and no increase in noise. My BIGGEST problem with the installation was the re-wiring. The instructions are less than clear. I was replacing an old Nutone heat/fan/light/nitelight unit that was wired to 4 wall switches. NOWHERE IN THE INSTRUCTIONS DID NUTONE TELL YOU THAT THE NEW UNIT MUST BE WIRED TO THE NUTONE 4-FUNCTION WALL SWITCH IN ORDER TO OPERATE. After a number of attempts to wire the unit to the four existing wall switches, I gave up. After a little online research, I discovered that you had to use their 4-Function switch. Once I re-wired it with their switch it worked perfectly. They could have saved me a lot of time, by clearly stating that their 4-Function switch must be used. Overall it's a great high-end product.

Installed in place of an old unit that made lots of noise when running. This unit has very good lights, heater is quite and throws the heat all the way down to the floor with 9 foot ceilings. The vent is also very quite. Had to cut a larger hole in the ceiling to make it fit and run new exhaust line, but not a big problem. The only major problem was the damper for the vent. It was defective and had to get another sent. The design is not the best either and I am concerned about it lasting over the long term. It should be stronger.

We have installed two of these and really like them. They are very quiet.

This fan works great. The fan moves a lot of air and is very quiet. The heater provides instantaneous heat and the nite light is a great little bonus. The fan was a little tricky to install as a replacement. You do need to have patience especially in the attic. A new construction would be a breeze. I did the install myself so another set of hands probably would have made it much easier and quicker.

Great product for the money. This unit replaced a tired Nutone light/fan combo that was 25 years old and what a difference it made. This is so much quieter, efficient, and also has the heater that the wife loves. The 6 " fan really removes the steam and moisture and the nightlight is a nice feature to have in the middle of the night! I highly recommend this unit for a new construction or a remodel job as it is not to much bigger that most do the older style fan/light combo units.

I purchased this unit for it's 3-in-one functions and because of the claimed low sones of the exhaust fan. The exhaust fan IS very quiet but the fan for the resistance heat circulation is quite loud--rather odd. Both fans are powerful.

Installation - Very easy to install, 2- people will make the job easier. Power - Make sure you pull in the dedicated 20 amp power for this unit. this will require installing the proper line for the new higher amp power needed to operate this unit Switch - Don't forget to purchase the speical Nutone 4-function switch, (D77/DW77), it is a MUST. This will make this unit very flexible to use. Wiring - If you pay attention to the schematic, this will make wiring this unit a snap. HINT: label/tag the wire to make it easier to remember which line will power which function. Lights - Light bulb uses non-standard pin connectors, otherwise, very usable light source. Heater - VERY good heater, heats room up very quickly. Vent - Super quiet fan, almost too quiet, 0.9 sones, (compared to our older unit, 2.5 sones+), This unit moves a lot of air, you can even feel the air being drawn into the bath from under the door. Clears the bath of steam & odors very quickly. This will certainly help minimize any issues with mold. Recommendation - I would highly recommend this product!!!

No one advised that a separate switch was needed to operate the product. Many hours spent trying to install the product with no success.

This had everything I was looking for but I returned because it required a 6" pipe for venting. This would have increased my installation costs considerably. I could of used a down-sizer to a 4" pipe but the manufacturer advised this would cause the system to be louder. I also could not find the 4 function switch at any of the box stores.

We should have installed this product sooner, very quiet fan operation, the heater element is just right for room warming, and the lighting options are perfect for our bathroom. Immediately noticed that moisture was no longer present on bathroom mirrors, the ultra-quiet operation of the ventilator fan removed our previous "noisy" fan sounds completely. Overall this was the right product for our home, we installed one in each bathroom, and it was the right choice.
