Had this for a little over a year and the knob broke - like so many other people have had happen. This is a poorly supported product and I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I'm giving this one star because they apparently charge a for a replacement knob. I have submitted a support request with the manufacturer, and I'll change my review if the results are positive, but I'm in the market for a new bidet seat now.

I purchased a second one, as it performs and looks great!

Manufacturer does not back up product. They give one year warranty, which I agree is industry standard, but if you have so many people having the same issue you would think that they would cover the knob breaking. They still want to charge for the knob and shipping for the knob. Will not stand behind product.

Using the Brondell Ecoseat bidet for four years has been a rollercoaster. I've replaced the knob three times due to the faulty design of the knobs. It cracks within a year or two. Their customer service does not accept the design issue and insist on charging me for the replacement knob every time. Now I have a cemetary of dead knobs! If you're eyeing this bidet, be ready for potential recurring issues. Disappointing experience

The Bidet itself is great. There is a wash mode for the front and back. I have attached it to cold-water only. There is no issue with the water being too cold. The seat is comfortable for the elongated base. The lid is a soft close. My complaint, however, is the control knob for the water - it is plastic. It has split as mentioned in other reviews. The side mount knob applies more stress to the knob post than a top mount. I compared the style on two different bidets. I contacted the company. Unless I can show proof of purchase and proof it is less than one year old, they will do nothing. The replacement is $7 with an additional $8 to $10 in shipping charge. The amount of shipping costs for a plastic knob is not at all reasonable, nor is the price of the knob. I am looking elsewhere for a knob to prevent their additional profit at my expense. I will say their customer service needs improvement and/or improve the construction of the knob. The knob should be well made based upon the expectations of usage. Too many of us are having the same issue, this must be addressed by Brondell.

2 months after the 12 month warranty expired, the plastic control knob broke in the full on position. Awkward. Otherwise great. Bought another. Support non existent.

I purchased this version since I wanted to try bidets for the first time without a big cash layout. The seat looks like a normal seat without all the bells and whistles, not obvious. The wash control broke after 15 months. I'm hoping the manufacturer can send a replacement - I will update the review if I get a response. I guess nothing lasts forever, but I think the design of the control may be poor. While the control itself was metal, it was held on by a plastic housing.

Easy-peasy installation. Just need a scissor (to cut teflon tape) and a small crescent wrench to gently snug the supply line fittings (seat bolts, toilet tank and water supply tighten with our fingers). Fits like a glove. I stood in front of the toilet and tested function and got hit with a crotch level shot of water. After wiping up the water on the floor I sat down and tried it. Works great. In other words, take the leap of faith and test use as it will be used.

The valve controls pressure getting really tight and doesn't turn!!!

Contacted Brondell, waiting on replacement knob, don’t know if they have a replacement knob for seat. Less than a year old. VERY POOR MATERIALS FOR KNOB BREAKS (splits)

I purchased this because it was the only soft close seat in the store. It was the beginning of the pandemic and the TP was being horded. Anyway this was beyond all expectations. Easy to install the cold water was never too cold... and I don't worry about leaving the house without a clean bum. I can get hit by a car and only worry about skidmarks in the road and not on my undies.

The seat is a great buy and easy to install. It took about 15 minutes to install with minimal tools.

I bought the bidet 2 weeks ago and immediately after using it, I was very happy with my purchase. It took 10 minutes to install it. Also I love it has an option for the intimate parts of ladies. My only worry, is the safety of the plastic thread. I already recommended this ggreat product to my friends.

I had been seriously considering bidets about 6 months ago, and there's nothing like a pandemic to make make you pull the trigger. I chose this model because it doesn't require electricity or fancy plumbing, and it also looks just like a regular toilet seat. For those of you who are reading reviews and trying to decide - the cold water ain't that cold, and I live in a place that's cold enough to snow in April. The installation was indeed very easy, except I did need pliers to attach the small hose to the bidet. This thing is wonderful! After just one use, you'll look down on the rest of humanity as lesser, un-evolved beings. (FYI, the packaging the item comes in is not discreet, in case that matters to any of you.)

I was waiting waiting this product about over a month. Because right now situation is middle of corona virus pandemic. also this is really hard tiome to get toilet paper. wet wipe, and so many kind of paper products. I was using bidet when I return and visit to my Mom's home. She always uses like she can not live without bidet. So I try It was feels great after wash and felt just after the shower. my husband too. We was wishing bidet from a year ago. But we were giving up because our bathroom (Closer or under or behind of toilet bowl) Since this pandemic situation, I was keep looking looking before home sheltering started. Now I found! This product water position, power and washing type control side dial by hand. It is so convinient! It is super above awsome than I thought. I really recomend! Also Seat is very comfortable!! Please Have a seat! and relax and enjoy bathing time! ( My hus band mostly staying on seat 10mins. This is the ONLY probrem foro me....)

he lack of toilet paper on the store shelves this month made me research Bidets. Being a newbie and have never used a Bidet before, the first thing I looked at were the electric models that warm the water, dry your behind with hot air, etc. Sure I wanted one, but I have several bathrooms and figured that I need to ease into this and get a couple of basic bidets. The Brondell S101 round toilet seat looked like a great option for me to do at least two bathrooms. The round seat Brondell S101 fits well on my American Standard Champion 4 Max. It was an easy install that took me about 20 minutes. The white color matches perfect and the low profile seat looks great on it. The water pressure is more than enough. The pressure actually seems to be too forceful, but better to have it and not need it than not to have it at all. So far the ambient temperature water doesn't bother me a bit. I am happy with this product.

This Glacier Bay model elevates the process of bathroom hygiene to a whole new level. The bidet is designed for maximum ease of use and cleanliness. The overall design is beautifully executed. It fufilled all my expectations, also rated tops at Consumers Report.

It was actually pretty good until the control knob broke after nearly 3 years.

Easy to install. Intuitive controls. Only issue is that the self cleaning mode splashes quite a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn’t fit. Despite the fact that I called and spoke to you before purchase, and measured accurately, it is too short. At least an inch of the porcelain at the front of the bowl shows. It is a shame, because it is a very well made product. We paid a professional to install it (actually we bought two!), so it is not an installation issue. I am disappointed, and don’t quite know what can be done about it.
