Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for taking the time to enter your comments about our flooring product. We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with your flooring. We purchased this after a Home Depot employee told us to get this color to match the Bruce flooring that was already installed in our home (we brought a piece of the wood in to match colors). This flooring does not match at all, SO much lighter. Clearly incorrect color.

Good Morning,
Thank you for taking the time to enter your comments about our flooring product. We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced with the color matching of your flooring. Color variations in hardwood flooring are a natural occurrence due to species, age, characteristics of the wood and exposure to light. For these reasons, new and/or replacement flooring may not match display samples and/or existing flooring. Differences between the pictures on our website and the actual product could vary due to variations in computer color displays and monitor settings. For these reasons, we highly recommend obtaining a sample of the flooring you think matches your flooring, so that you can take it home and compare. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope this information is helpful. Have a great day. Armstrong

Overall, I love the look of our new flooring. My only drawback holding me from rating this a 5 is that some of the boards we flawed, chipped, lacked a tongue or groove, or was warped. The overall look is great. Just making sure the boards weren’t flawed was difficult.

Good morning Don,
We apologize for the inconvenience; it is our aim to provide quality products and services to our customers and to meet your expectations. If you believe there is a problem with the floor itself, you can begin an investigation to determine what is causing the issue. To do this, please return to your local Home Depot with your proof of purchase as we do not have individual representatives here to inspect your floor. The retailers are trained and authorized to inspect our floors for us. You will need your sales receipt as it serves as your proof of purchase. If the problem is a warranted issue, the retailer will submit a claim form to Armstrong. Once again we are truly sorry for this experience. Armstrong

The pieces were longer and generally better quality than the 2 1/4 inch that I had used previously, making for easier (faster) installation. However making the ends meet tightly was a little harder, as evidenced even by the add picture above (butting of the 4th piece from the left to the streak).

Good afternoon. Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our product. I am sorry that this flooring was not up to expectations. This floor is part of the Plano collection. The Plano Collection is part of Bruce’s Natural Grade category which features a greater amount of visual character such as wider color and grain variation, mineral streaks, knots and small holes as well as minor milling imperfections, so it will have a higher waste factor. A 1/3 loss would not be considered to be acceptable even with the milling specs for this flooring. In this situation we would have recommended you have the store file a warranty claim on the bad flooring rather than just having you purchase additional flooring. Again I do apologize for any inconvenience. Armstrong
