These 4 packs of expensive cherry are junk. It looks like someone picked through the inventory and sent me all the chipped, beaten and discolored inventory. Home Depot needs to contact the vendor and make sure this doesn’t happen again. I have ordered this product several times. The first time the cherry 1x3 product came in so clean and clear i just needed to lightly sand it and I could produce grade A finished woodworking projects. My last two orders the stuff was only good as firewood. Please fix this quality control issue so I can stop returning my orders!

The two cherry wood boards I received must have been rejects not good enough to sell in stores so they offload them online. One had a workers boot print on it, the other was NOT clear lumber and had a huge rotten void right in the middle that rendered it completely useless. These would NEVER pass for millwork quality boards for interior use. I have no recourse with HD to return them, so for $84 plus shipping I have some expensive scrap wood. This is just blatant misrepresentation.

Boards arrived in excellent condition right on time. This cherry wood product is easy to work with and produces high quality results every time. I am including a photo of the custom designed frames I built with it to create an unique piece of wall art.

The three boards I ordered arrived in mint condition and worked perfectly to create a large 7' x 2' wall frame to perfectly match some unique wall art from Maitland-Smith. Very happy with the product.

Good quality and no warp boards

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. One piece was excellent (nice color and grain, straight, etc.) and the other piece was very good (just slightly less nice grain but still straight and all heart wood). Both pieces were heart wood (all uniform darker cherry color, no light sap wood). I would definitely order this product again and recommend it to others who live in an area without a mill nearby or want their wood delivered directly to their front door!

Needed some cherry for a quick project and this fit the bill. Excellent packaging and beautiful wood.

Very good quality, nice and straight with very few blemishes. Worked excellent for my project (5 Bookcases). I just finished and installed the third of the five of them.

Excellent product. Well dried and boards were flawless. Only issue is they put stickers on the boards and these are not easy to get off

The S4S cherry I purchased was much better than the walnut, but still not good and a pretty bad value. The surfacing is uneven, most of the boards are bowed, but workable. The cuts are horrible. Not what I expected from a S4S board. Take a look at the picture. Most of the boards have tearouts near the ends or even in the middle of the boards. Don't waste your money.

The wood was advertised as S4S, but a great part of the wide surfaces is rough sawn and not suitable for fine work. the quality was NOT as advertised and I will not buy from this seller again.

The cherry wood had too many imperfections. There wad a knot the size of a nickel. There was side damage due to rough shipping. Not very pleased.

It was a perfect piece of lumber. My different projects could use pieces that aren’t quite perfect but they keep sending me exceptional boards. Oh well, maybe I’ll get a not-so-perfect board in my next order. Highly recommend this supplier.

I received exactly what I ordered, but I had ordered the wrong size of board. Have since received the correct size.

Wasn't happy with the grain flow and coloring. Would not have picked this board in the store but I knew ordering sight unseen was agamble.

Maybe I got lucky, but I've had good luck with these guys so far - 1 x 2 and 1 x 3 were very good, this time got 2 1 x 4s and they're near perfect. The only negative is the darn CA health hazard warning sticker - not easy to remove! First pass with a straight-edge razor blade (careful not to nick the wood!) then a wipe (outdoors) with ethyl acetate.

Nice piece of Cherry wood. I was making some shelves and wanted to match our Cherry cabinets, A little "Golden Oak" stain and 2 coats of polyurethane and the shelves look right at home.

Boards were straight with no blems. Cherry has been back-ordered from my usual hardwood supplier so Ii went with Home Depot. Very satisfied and I’ll be buying more.

Had large knothole, which effectively reduced the length of the board. Very disappointing, considering the cost of the lumber! It is a gamble to purchase lumber on line and allow others to select what is shipped to you. This is the 3rd or 4th recent disappointing purchase experience I’ve had at Home Depot.

I bought these boards to make a round top for a coffee table. To get the desired size, I needed the full lengths of the boards. I was very disappointed to find a bad end on one of the boards which affected about 4". I was able to work around it, but I did not expect to see such a flaw given the price paid. Apart from that, the quality was fine. I will try to attach a photo.

Good quality cherry.
