Provides adequate pressure and temperature for a shower in a cargo trailer to RV conversion. I did wrap some hot water lines with foam insulation to prevent heat loss. And I replaced the cheap hose and nozzle with a better one.

I purchased an instant water heater two years ago. I installed it a little bit over a month ago. Worked for a couple of minutes then the wiring shorted out and burnt up. Contacted camplux and explained the issue. With proof of purchase provided to camplux the unit was replaced with no issues and within 2 weeks! That is superb customer service. Stand up company. I’ll recommend them to all my friends.

easy to install, ensure gas & water line are sealed completely at all connections, i choose to drain the unit of water once done so theres none jus sitting inside the hose lines or unit after each use, works great, provides hot wayer in about 3 seconds, had it about a month now and I've showered outside with it everyday

Only complaint I have is the water is a little too hot on the lowest setting otherwise, I’m impressed with it

So far it has worked well

Works great, the water takes less than 10 seconds to heat up. I use it frequently, the only issue I noticed is if the wind is blowing hard it will blow out the pilot light flame and the water goes cold, you just push the button off then back on the shower head and it heats back up. I will probably need to fabricate some metal shield in front without getting to close so it will function correctly and exhaust properly out the top.

Using it for an outdoor shower. So far so good. Water is hot. Easy to install. Cheaper and easier than running plumbing from my house.

I ordered on the 13th and says will be here on the 20th this is unusual for Home Depot’s normal delivery time and there is no faster delivery options.

Was able to modify a small camper with only a water tank and pump to having an outdoor shower. Need to work at the fittings to eliminate leaks at them.

The heater never produced water that was HOT, only warm. After troubleshooting it, I am taking it back for a replacement.

Overall, a decent product, does what I need it to. However, if you plan on using this in a complete outdoor, open air setting be aware that the burner goes out in even a slight breeze. Make sure to install a on/ off valve on the water inlet.

They sent me a clearly returned, clearly damaged item! So frustrating when you wait weeks for something that your excited about and it arrives used and damaged…. This is Home Depot’s fault… The camplux brand is great.

Even though the unit works great the show head and parts are not high quality and never worked properly. I’m still trying to figure out what parks I need to attempt to attach another shower head.

Very easy to install and use

This hot water heater works so well. Its so east to install ans fits most in house shower outlets. Its gets really hot and stYs hot the whole time allows you to control the water and gas pressure

Needs high pressure to work, how is this camping?

Before ordering I asked Home Depot rep if it would work above 2000 ft. and was told it would. It only heats water to lukewarm/cool. Do not purchase if it will be used above 2000 ft.

A little snafu but Burke at my Home Depot helped with the leak problem. Works great simple instructions.

The reasoning for the low rating is because the inlet and outlet hoses have leaked since installation. Will need to be replaced with another brand in order to work properly.

Best shower out there, couldn't ask for anything better.

It was easy to setup, and it works great. Took a couple of tries to get the right temperature setup and now it is perfect.

Water inlet is weak along water outlet. You can tighten either one with a brass or shark bite fitting.
